Traits

[Collector] Neutral trait
This character has a collection of items or does lowkey hoarding of random objects they find. They are more likely to pick up just about anything they find and check it out. If an item is removed from their collection without their approval they may become minorly distressed.
[Animal Communer] Positive trait
This character is more likely to be in tune with animals. While they cannot speak “animal” they are able to understand their emotions and the animal is likely able to understand them.
[Speciesist] Negative trait
This character negatively or positively judges others based on what they were born as and not on the person’s actions. This character will commonly review the social standing of a person by their species and race when they see them. This is different from the classist trait as this character does not judge on the character’s social standing but the social standing of their entire race. It is possible for a speciesist to see all higher races as scum of the earth and lower species as absolutely perfect.

Personality & Traits

The Z-class are the best around when it comes to taming fauna on notail planets. They seem to have a close connection to wildlife and other animals. Z-classes are taught early in life to track animals and document them, even battling a few weaker types in their childhood quests. When a Z-class reaches adulthood they go from merely watching fauna and documenting them from afar to actively wrangling them and bringing them back home to be tamed.

Z-classes have the biggest team of capture creatures, averaging about six capture creatures to the common one or less for most notails. Z-classes carefully pick capture creatures that can help them catch fauna and fight off wild fauna. Their team is like family to them and one of them getting killed can be a rather traumatic event. Even though their emotions towards animals is high, their emotions towards their fellow notails and other species are lukewarm at best. They have a hard time relating to other non-Z-classes.

Z-classes hold a variety of jobs, such as medical, but they only work with a few types of beasts for their whole lives, breeding and perfecting them. The goal is to get their stock to perfection and then ship or sell them out. While the need for capture creatures for anything but entertainment has become far less important in this day and age of robots, Z-classes have found a new niche to fill. The exotic pet market.

Subtypes

Wildz: A Wildz is a subtype of Z-class that's made to just stay in the wild, documenting and collecting interesting fauna. Normal Z-classes pop by the bases of Wildzs and pick up both the info they've documented and their best fauna. Wildz notails are known for basically being animals to anything that isn't a notail, as such they rarely are ever seen outside of notail controlled planets.

Special

Fauna communication: Z-classes are able to understand the emotions of animals sometimes better than they understand the emotions of other notails. While Z-classes aren't able to actually talk to animals, they like to say they can.

Trivia

• A Z-classes' mask is normally of their favorite animal to work with.

• Z-classes are known to mimic the sounds of animals, causing some to call them "backward parrots."

• The Z-class leader wishes to be called Z-00, not Z-100. Notail class numbers are unable to start with a 0 so this will never be allowed.
