Physical Description
T-1040 is immediately distinct in the fact that while their mask resembles a gator in design with a wide toothy grin, it has LEDs in the eyes to have them circle through a rainbow of colors, with a half crescent moon design set onto them, giving them ☽w☾ as a sign off.
Otherwise he tends to be seen wearing a light pink blazer, with a grey undershirt and pants. As flashy as he looks, his outfit underneath is a bit more ...dull in coloration, seeming to contrast with the rest of his looks to try and keep those around him calm.
Personality
T-1040 keeps a strong air about themselves, and always keep a notebook or other similar device for recording information on hand, as to never miss a beat. He is sure to make a note of anything you say or do while interacting with him, and allows whoever he is talking with to lead the conversation.
Anyone speaking with T-1040 will note he hardly communicates verbally, and always speaks through messages, even in person. Those who have heard him talk have said they don't trust him, he feels too kind and disingenuous for a notail. He simply listens to their request, then gives the details of repayment in as few sentences as possible.
T-1040 will always accept a request, making sure to write everything down in excruciating detail, and has an odd aura to them, making any species requisitioning help from the notails think twice before they obtain a loan. Anyone directly speaking with T-1040 has a higher chance of backing down if they were not planning to pay back in a timely manner.
Oddly enough for a notail, anyone who is directly around T-1040 will find any problems they have being fixed through his help, and very rarely does anyone not repay him in kind as soon as possible. He of course notes what he helped with down, but he has never been seen trying to recoup his losses for what he did for someone he knows.
T-1040 can be found around X-10, especially after he's made a deal with another species. X-10 loves talking with him about the species he interacted with, and T-1040 enjoys helping them with their work, since X-10 can be so scatterbrained. He has trouble finding anyone who wants to spend time with him, so he has taken an interest in xenobiology due to the constant interactions. He mostly seems happy someone would enjoy spending time with him, and is sad no one is willing to take him at face value.
History
No one knows much about T-1040 before he was found in the forest,but a group of notails claim to have found him set up in an abandoned campsite, his storage prepared and filled with supplies.The group, lacking both supplies and a T-class, added them to their camp, but kept their guard up around him after he offered up his supplies without asking for a return investment, a fact which made the group feel like something was off about them. They looked after him at a distance, paying him back for what they owed in time, as none of the group wanted a potential dept to come back and haunt them in the future.
After managing to not only save a camp from dying out from lack of supplies, but also help them thrive, he became quite famous when he joined notail society. As he made his way back into society, rumors began to spread about those who did not repay his kindness. One of the most popular rumors involves one notail dying of a particularly painful mallon infestation, leading others to believe that failure to repay T-1040 would in turn be blessed with similar "accidents." This allowed T-1040 to secure higher ranking job positions than most wished him to have, for the fear of something terrible happening to them should they refuse to repay his generosity was, and always has been, higher than their disdain.
T-1040 applied for the position of T-class leader after witnessing the previous T-class leader "mysteriously vanishing" while setting up a delivery of supplies to
Mortembrosias. A mixture of rumors and cold hard results rocketing him up in the chain for filling the position, and the promise of high return on investment for the notails helped secure him the position.

T-1040's Law: If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong, unless T-1040 is paid back.
Trivia
• T-1040 writes out a defined date for repayment of any loan and keeps them updated every day. Species have never had any problems as long as they return payment before that time, and in fact many species almost double the payment out of fear of being blessed.
• A group of ectons took a loan to create a drug den on a space station, and no one was sober when the alarms blared signalling the planetary descent.. They are still paying off their debt to this day.
• One unlucky volkronn thought they could get away with paying the notails back late due to how T-1040 acts. They thought they chose the perfect planet to mine with their money. They thought they hired the right people to be as safe as possible. They didn't see the butterflies when they hatched.
• T-1040 donates anonymously from their personal funds. He stopped donating in person after the time he gave a group of chistile a donation to help them, then moments later one of their arms snapped off and they handed the donation back, in the hand of the broken arm so as to stay as far away as possible.
