Traits
This character will be more nervous of suspicious situations, and less willing to take risks. They may put extra effort into making sure everything is safe before feeling comfortable. While this normally makes things safer for them, it can also be a huge time waster.
This character will unconsciously fidget when bored, nervous, under stress, or for some other reason. This can range anywhere from tapping their fingers/claws/other such appendage, to looking around frantically, to chewing on their lip or biting their nails/claws/other.
This character may not talk much, may talk quietly, or be nervous around unfamiliar people.

Other characters appreciate this and do not lose sanity when speaking to this character no matter what is being spoken about, unless the other character has a trait that causes them to panic. Physical Description
Lad is a slim, horned, dark-skinned humanoid dressed completely in a bright blue sailor's outfit, minus the hat. Four horned line his head symmetrically, and only one eye on his face, as if his left eye was paved over with flesh. Lad is existentially bound to a 4x4x4 inch ornately carved block, which contacts a plaque on the inside that cannot be removed by any means.
Lad's physical presence is based on contact with the box: if any organic, sentient entity is making skin contact with the box, Lad will instantly appear somewhere nearby the recipient. Subsequently, Lad will automatically disappear as soon as contact with the box is lost. Any damage, fatal or otherwise, done to Lad will disappear between summonings, and the box itself is incredibly durable.
Personality
Lad is an incredibly timid man. He will usually be in a panicked state upon being summoned, requiring him to be calmed down before speaking with him. Once properly calmed, Lad will become extremely clingy to anyone nearby, very rarely remained unattached to someone's side. Lad is very open to speaking about himself among other things, but is unable to remember anything from his past, asides from times spent "outside" the box.
Lad is also incredibly reluctant to have the recipient release contact of the box, going to extreme lengths to prevent himself from disappearing. However, Lad's interaction with the box itself seems prohibited, as he will instantly disappear for around an hour if he himself makes contact with it.
History
The box that Lad is bound to was originally uncovered as an artifact from a long-lost settlement where an unknown species dwelled. Once it got into the hands of collectors and Lad's presence was discovered, it was used for Lad's ability and was passed around from fanatic to fanatic until eventually fading from the public eye. The current location of Lad and the box is mostly unknown, but is assumed to be stored away in a personal collection or a museum somewhere.
Special
Second Sight: Lad has the innate ability to view the past of the person who summoned him. He is able to look up to a few minutes in the future and relay it back to the recipient. However, Lad is only able to give vague or cryptic clues to what actually happens, for if he is too direct or specific, he will abruptly disappear, and is unable to be summoned from anytime between several minutes and a full day, depending on the severity of the future event.
Trivia
• While there are certain methods of calming Lad that are better than others, like providing food or comfort, the most calming factor appears to be completely dressed, or simply to be blue. Lad doesn't understand himself, but simply claims the color is very soothing.
• When asked about where Lad is sent to when the box is not being held, most accounts gave similar responses: Lad describes it as "being trapped in the same place where everything is dark and there's no one around". Apparently for him, time passes much slower "in" the box than in reality, as a single minute can be as long a couple hours for Lad.
