Attack Method: Paroxipers will expand their stomach and chest and release a hiss to mimic the sound of something exploding to intimidate or scare away any potential threat, if that doesn't work then they attempt to strike down the threat with their strong front paws.
Paroxipers are large, furred, muscular mammals that are stocky with long, rectangular bodies. They have big, clawed front paws and skinnier hooved back legs. Paroxipers have very muscular necks, and large, spongy, protective, tumour-like formations forming on their head with protective ridges over the eyes.
The hair on a Paroxipers body is generally pretty short on the body, their underbelly are mostly mostly hairless while the neck and head often have a "mane" of soft hair that tends to stick out.
Paroxipers have a soft, thin and elastic underbelly that will fill with air and expand as a defence mechanism. When expanded Paroxipers make a loud hissing noise akin to an explosion about to go off. This defence mechanism is used to intimidate anything by the loud hissing noise produced and by the rapid expansion of their belly, making them look "larger".
Their large front paws are mainly used for digging, although they're also their main method of attacking in the rare moments they choose to hunt or when they need to defend themselves.
Paroxipers are intelligent animals with an innate sense of curiosity. While territorial, paroxipers are rather friendly towards people they trust, showing a full range of emotions like boldness, shyness, sociability, excitability, and so on. Paroxipers have a strong hesitancy and fear of the unknown, preferring a known and secluded area than an unknown but open space.
Paroxipers stick to groups of around five to eight. The herds tend to stick closely together as they wander around forests and ward off predators. Each herd has a paroxiper that tends to take charge of the pack and lead it.
Null: The null is a tamed version of a Paroxiper. Nulls are more extroverted than their wild counterparts and tend to come in many different shapes and sizes. Their 'pseudo-explosion' mechanism has been bred out of them to make them less defensive and territorial.
Nulls also have been bred to have different breeds. A very common breed is a medium-sized one with golden brown fur originally produced to be a hunter capable of navigating both land and water to hunt small animals but is now considered a popular house pet.
None.
• Paroxiper babies are commonly called ñones.
• Nulls are rather popular as pets but many people underestimate how big they can get.
