Static is an anomalous AI installed onto an outdated television set. Static says his "real body" is the television itself. This is likely because he often changes out parts of his body to disguise himself, keeping the static-filled television no matter what. His preferred body is a chaotic mishmash of a Hermes neck, an Apollo torso, a Helios arm, a broken Zeus arm, an Athena leg, and a Circe leg. Nobody can tell which generations these parts came from. The other tell that a robot is Static besides the signature television head is the fact that Static always has small inky black tentacles coming out of various cracks and joints in whatever body he is using. These tentacles have been found to be biologically similar to leeches.
Static is obsessed with one thing and one thing only: a plan that he says will allow him to "gain wealth." This plan involves forcefully taking parts from robots across the universe. Static refuses to tell the exact details, saying he doesn't want any copycats. Some, however, say they have seen blueprints of the plan in its fullness. Unfortunately, all of them also happen to be widely unreliable sources. The only concrete details that have been found are that the plan involves a "demonic centipede", a "worldeater", and "raw materials."
Static is a rather hard to identify person. Although his television head and small tentacles should be an obvious tell, he can change his voice to literally anybody else's at will and is incredibly apt at hiding from the authorities. He is visibly uncomfortable in the daylight, seemingly sensitive to the light. Due to this, he prefers to be outside in the nighttime. Static's main anomalous quality, besides his tentacles and voice-changing, is the fact that his name cannot be heard or read. Whenever he tries to say his name, all that comes out is static. Even if he is trying to pretend to be somebody else, when he tries to say his fake name static comes out. If he writes down his name, it appears to anybody who reads it as an odd symbol showing a crossed out eye with a large pupil full of static.
Static was first sighted 400 years ago on Valkan. Almost immediately after being spotted he stole a spaceship and left the planet. What followed was a series of what can only be described as serial killings of robots. Across hundreds of planets, and many years, hundreds of robots were found missing many vital parts. All of the killings were tracked down to Static. Static was imprisoned, but not for long. Merely four years after being captured, Static escaped using a guard's body. Static is currently at large, always escaping at the last minute.
Nameless: Static's name cannot ever be heard or read. All that can be heard is static and all that can be seen is an insidious symbol.
• Static's television head seems to be a model from thousands of years ago. Whoever it belonged to must be rather upset that such a vintage item is missing.
• Sporadically, the static filling Static's screen will sometimes dissipate to show a rapidly moving image of hundreds of eyes.
• Wealth must be gained. The ark must be built.
