K-13205

[K-13205 doesn't look away from her rapid note writing, but does simulate an eye roll using the lights of her mask.]
Same thing as always, a ton of limbo god bunkus. Just be glad you're alive. Most people don't get that honor. 0ω0
[She motions vaguely to the surrounding town, now no longer resembling what the crew once saw. If anyone was still alive Clay wasn't seeing it.]

I knew we should have never let Athena hangout with Eris.

What do you mean Helios?

Look at what Eris has done to Athena. She used to be levelheaded and not corrupted like she is now. This would be unthinkable to the Athena I knew.

Are we both talking about the same Athena?

I get that you don't like Athena but-what's that paper you're taking out?

These are my profiling notes on Athena. She is a wanted criminal so these are in the system. Ahem.

Athena to Eris at a meeting. If I see one piece of produce from you, you bloody snake, I will be sure to stomp you into the ground and grind you into dust.

See, does that sound like the start of a healthy relationship to you?

When informed she would be tossed out of a meeting for threatening murder and thus would have to sit outside with Mars she stated "I am ready and willing to engage in hand-to-hand combat with that hard headed buffoon!"

Mars would have started it.

When Latta, a character Athena had total control over was asked to get in a cannon to be shot miles away to a new location, Athena had her character say "yes."

.........Athena did try to make a character that killed others with the power of stand up comedy.

I've also been told that after saving her friend, Nike, from being killed by Fortuna her response to this was to then punch Nike in the face for being a "fool."

.........She felt more levelheaded in my mind. Still I believe it's Eris that made her that way.

While I would like to blame Eris for this, I have to admit that I believe it is a failure of the system that caused this all. While I do not know if the lamp was or was not secretly an AI god or a figment of Athena's imagination, it is clear to me that Athena felt trapped enough in her situation to humor a talking lamp.

Many crimes are committed by those who feel trapped and helpless. When she attempted murder the first time that should have been a clear sign to reablitate her and understand that while what she is doing is horribly wrong, that these actions were due to a mad grab at regaining power taken from her. Instead they took more power away, leading to an even more violent second attempt.

Feeling powerless is a horrible feeling. While I can never approve of her actions, I understand the faults that helped push this limbo of events to rise up. That's why she always wanted to be a patron, to have power over something in her life. It is sad to know that you will now never be able to see Athena the same way again.

What? Why would you assume that?

Don't you believe that Limbo gods are irredeemable evils of the universe?

Yes but Athena is-

A limbo god now.

.............

Why do you believe limbo gods are irredeemable?

Kratos don't start with this, it is a known fact that they are.

If the whole universe told me I was a vile monster I would-

Don't twist my words Kratos, Athena is an exception. She is my friend and I know that she-

-uh, Kratos, what are you doing, back off.

Kratos......is this a hug? Why are you hugging me?

While we may not see eye to eye on many things Helios, I am proud to see that in a small way you have been improving from the way you were before. This showcase of forgiveness is wonderful to see.

.......Uh, thanks I guess.

........You can let go of me now.

Done!
