Songiprovo (Tailmic): The tailmic is a capture creature for G-classes and U-classes. It is by far the most common capture creature, as it freely roams many, if not all, notail settlements. Notails seem to have a kinship, or at least a strange and extreme tolerance, with tailmics and will do nothing as they casually come over and eat food, sometimes even out of the hands of a notail. Thornhead: While following their owner thorn heads are extremely obedient to commands and fairly easy to tame, they don't even seem phased at all by being ridden for the first time. Of course to ride a thorn head, one must trim away a fair amount of the famous thorns. In the woods of the notail lands children are taught that while their thorny companion makes a fair steed, the true reason to have a thorn head are for these thorns. By carefully trimming away the thorns notails can make tools, traps, and weapons to hunt and fight with. (10)

Monike: During an encounter, monikes are not considered physical threats. Instead, the danger lies in the opponent's psyche. They are defensive capture creatures that specialize in survival, support, and status effects. Given the right training, a fanned monike is able to mesmerize through dance, similar to a hypnotist’s watch. These dances are given such names as “scary face,” “glare,” and “confusion” and either gives the monike and its owner enough time to escape or incapacitates the target long enough for another capture creature to take charge and attack. Petit mal: Starting its life as a two-foot-tall chick, the seizing bird takes one year to reach adulthood and be a humble four feet tall. At this point in their life, they are known as petit mals. Stocky and fairly durable for a bird the petit mals are quick on their feet and chase down any prey they can. They are not keen on sharing with their owners though. Petit mals will never become grand mals without large amounts of food. Even after a meal, the petit mals will hop over to their owner, opening their mouth and screaming for more food. (5)
