• While notails are resistant to illnesses, they lack this resistance to fungal and plant-based parasites.

• One might see a notail as an animal when they are under extreme stress. It is believed this is an effect caused by the notail's minor psychics or due to the stress in the non-notail subject causing a hallucination but as there are few studies on the phenomena it has little science to back it up.

• Although many notails have been ripped open in the pursuit of science, there are still people who believe that notails are secretly animals using skin as a disguise due to the phenomena. It hopefully doesn't need to be said, but this is untrue.
