Just remember, if you fail a skill check you will have some backlash. You can use your traits as well. For example do > Intelligence check: Make a fire or > [Quartermaster]: Make a fire. Instead of summoning a block of coal.
With the way the rolls have been I think the backlash would have been minor compared to the rolls. Look at all those 1s, Player!
I'm starting to miss Athena just a bit. She would have stopped this.
