Your 5th game was up next if you count tutorials. It's hard to believe that you've only been playing for four games now. It feels like so much has happened, but you shouldn't dwell too much on it. You had a universe to attempt to save, and you needed to make sure you didn't overthink this being your very first universe.
You get a message from your patron, Helios. It's a tad odd that Athena was now gone but it's for the best you supposed.
Welcome back peon. I hope you are well rested now.
Yeah I am now. Hopefully I don't have to go back outside looking for birds again.
With Athena now gone, I do feel that the probability of you having to go outside to look for birds will be quite low, peon. It shall be rather quiet now with Athena gone.
I'm going to miss her on some level.
As will I, peon. With the slot open once more you will at least be able to buy yourself another patron, if you decide to not take the one you've obtained for "beating" the final boss of your game with friendship.
I did want to ask you about that. Who is Kratos? I wasn't really given any information. The game just out of the blue rewarded me with him. Something about the name makes me feel like this Kratos person is the kind of guy who'd rip people to shreds. Not sure why that's the first thing I think of when I hear Kratos but considering this game I wouldn't be surprised if it ironically gifted me a deadly monster of a god for making peace with my enemies.
Thankfully peon, Kratos the god of strength is an upholder of order and law, a kindly god who intimidates many of the people he meets with his looks.
Did the game just give me Athena again?
Kratos doesn't like it when others call him Athena, peon.......But I admit most of the times I meet him I confuse him for Athena. I think now that I have interacted with Athena and gotten to know her better that I can see now that she and Kratos are extremely different from each other. To the casual onlooker though, yes. He really does seem like an Athena recolor.
Do you think it'll be possible to try out some of the patrons in the shop and then kick them out of my patron slot? You know, patron shop a little considering that I get my points back if the patron leaves.
You can surely attempt to do that peon, but do be warned, it is the patron who decides if they leave or not, should they choose so, they could waste your points and your slot by not leaving and you will just have to deal with them. Being a patron is considered a high position to some, peon. They will not mearly leave just because someone asked of them to. You could attempt to force them out of their slot by scaring them away but I must be honest peon........
You don't think I could scare anyone away do you?.......
I don't want to be rude peon, but...yes that is the case. The two godly powers you have now are not of the fighting sort, and I don't believe you have figured out how to weaponize culture or forging yet.
I guess that's fair.
Anyway, are you ready to start once more peon?
Let's see, before I start my game I should check in with my friends, possibly ask you a few questions, go buy a new patron from the shop if I'm not going to use Kratos, possibly get some other stuff while I'm at it, and, oh, I'll want to decide if I'm going to start a tutorial game or a normal one. I have a feeling I'll start just a plain and normal game, but I don't think I should ignore the choice.
