Nikki leaves his room. Phlodur hisses, apparently sensing something wrong. Nikki does too but brushes it off. Up ahead down the hallway he hears the clanging coming from his left, but the power room is to his right. He heads to the right, deciding that there is no use trying to check out the clanging with only the light of a cat as his aid.
