The people with the teachings of Evil were able to think for themselves and would build complex systems and lifestyles. They were able to partake in things that weren’t just eating from the land and sleeping. They were able to enjoy things, have hobbies, communicate with one another, but also hurt each other. Good disapproved of all of it.
