[It was true, Eris was too slow to ever attempt moving out of the way. She didn’t even try knowing that it was fruitless. The time it took from when the beam was fired, to it getting close to her couldn’t have been more than 5 seconds. To her time was much slower than that, and even still she knew she couldn’t move her mangled half a body to get out of the way. She was unsure if such a simple beam could kill her though.
