[The walk outside is oddly still. The humming that normally came from the walls of the House had stopped, and the tentacles that were draping some of the walls had completely stopped their slow, breathing like movements, as if the House itself was trying to stand still. The whole thing felt unnerving and Cleo was glad to get out.]
