Let’s head to the radio station; I always did want to see the inside of one! Plus they might have a job for us!
[Latta agreed and all four of them left the ship to head over to radio station.]
AbsoluteTrash: Ok I'm back, let me find you some info on the undergame.
Player: I thought you might have been bluffing.
AbsoluteTrash: Nah! Not this time. Maybe later though. B)
AbsoluteTrash: Ok so once upon a time the Fortuna dev crew were making a space exploration game with gods in it and what not. Before they had Greek gods they had like a total mash up of gods.
AbsoluteTrash: The theme of the story seemed to be darker too? I mean like, Fortuna is about sad stuff and hopelessness but also hope too in a way? This game just seemed like about I don’t know. Despair I guess?
AbsoluteTrash: Maybe if the game was finished, we would have seen the true theme of it. Basically it’s kind of sad. Think about reading a book that ends at the worst part. Someone tears out the rest of the pages so you never see the upside.
AbsoluteTrash: Anyway, the undergame basically is heck. It’s messy, one wrong move can destroy your game forever. It is interesting though from the times I’ve been able to go there. Looks like a game pasted together with glue and sticks.
AbsoluteTrash: The sun god lives here, when you don’t summon him out but talking to him just causes him to tell you gibberish glitched sentences hacked from sentences you’ve heard from your game before.
AbsoluteTrash: Nearly everyone is like that there though! They’re missing so much of themselves that they just, exist.
AbsoluteTrash: There is a way to “Fix” the characters though. Gotta find the matching AIs and pretty much fuse them.
AbsoluteTrash: A lot of the undergods are basically just the pre forms of some of the AIs. Basically they just, looted the code from them and made it in to another character with a greek/roman theme.
AbsoluteTrash: I mean it’s clear that the Fortuna devs get reeeeeeeeally lazy with coding and what not. I mean they didn’t even get rid of the other game. Fortuna is just on top of it. In a weird way, it’s being supported by it, and if it were ever to fall Fortuna would fall too!
AbsoluteTrash: The sun god destroys the game in a way by fusing Fortuna and the other game. He does this, I guess because he wants his friends back. He wants them to be alive again instead of soulless husks, but it never works and is kind of sad to watch.
AbsoluteTrash: The game collapses on itself, unable to handle things. Always missing something you know.
Player: Is Sonny one of these missing pieces?
AbsoluteTrash: We don’t know! But I do have a clue as to what Sonny is. Have you like. Ever thought about the limbo gods?
AbsoluteTrash: There's 9 Limbo gods.
AbsoluteTrash: Isn't there something really stupid about that? >: |
Player: Is there anything weird about it?
AbsoluteTrash: Uuuuh 9 is an uneven number and it's right next to 10. Who wouldn't go to 10?
AbsoluteTrash: Things just don't stop at 9. Unless it's groups of 3s. But the Limbo gods aren't groups of 3s, they hateeeee grouping together.
AbsoluteTrash: So why 9? We have an idea. The 10th limbo god. Was cut. Snip snip.
AbsoluteTrash: Anyway if that's all you wanted I'll be off now! You can use the other question later.
