[The first Depot was the “adopted” kuppa child of Kelda and Nova, but mostly Kelda. As time went by Kelda has been increasingly been reliant on the use of the Depots. Whenever one Depot dies Nova had to get another kuppa to replace them, or the whole ship would be in danger of what Kelda could do.
