Learned later on that’s she’s not called the queen hunter for nothing. Her parents were diamond headed royalty but by some anomaly she came out a square headed peasant. They couldn’t have a peasant be next in line for queen so they sold her to pirates, horrible pirates I’m told. I was also told they were “tree folk” which likely explains why she ran away when she saw me. Things really hit you when you realize even a huge hulking beast can have fears.
