The storm that rolled into the shanty town was bad enough, but then came the buildings, the towers.

And then came those mangled people, corrupted by the need for anything and everything.

But maybe the most frightening of all, were the shrimp who crawled from the towers. They were not violent. They did not hurt anyone, but their existence was unsettling, as if they had lost something. Become hollowed.

The team had to find a safer spot.

There was the castle, with its worried residents.

There was a store, which appeared to be inviting the group inside.

And lastly there was the wasteland. Somehow both the safest and the most deadly of all the options.

There was also a fortune telling booth, oddly untouched by the changes.

Phi held a capsule in their arms. They really just thought they were here to buy some goats and stuff for someone but it seems like it's pretty bad here. Hopefully they could help out a little bit?

Craftsman, like most people, felt freaked out by the sight. A series of buildings blooming out of the ground in a single day? Truly bizarre!

Carrying her own capsule in her claws, she looked at the odd scenery around her. She looked back and forth between the capsule and the new town before responding.

"Well... that's fair! We've been in the castle a lot. We can go talk to whoever you need to, Aqua, but we should be quick!! It really isn't safe out here."

No. In a way, these anomalies stop other anomalies, so they could thrive. In small amounts they can protect an area from the harms of anomalous forces.

Craftsman doesn't know why everyone's so interested in the snake. Sure, it was a pretty robot on the aesthetic side of things and all that, but despite deconstructing the bottom line being a smart way to thwart the machine, didn't they come here for diplomacy?
