[Black Knight Island / One for Bula]

The horrors of baby sitting pirate children had begun. It's been days since the children have seen their parents. No one has the heart to tell them they've likely been eaten by galehauts. The children are used to their pirate parents disappearing for days though.

Currently they look around for something to play with in the citadel.

They saw a cute cat a few moments ago prancing through the halls. A new pet would be nice.

Another pointed at O-6's room. A guy like him likely had tons of deadly toys to grab.

Another pointed out playing outside.

And yet another ponders heading to the depths of the citadel to see what sort of adventures await down there.

Little Fang
The hokkan pup known as Little Fang marched proudly, and chirped a simple, but adventurous tune as he led his crewmates along. Today it was his turn to be captain... nay, Prince, and these were his loyal subjects. He is overwhelmed with exciting options, and turns to his crew for guidance.
Salmon
A small aftik chick sits, sipping a juice box, upon a small unicorn that trudges along behind the hokkan.
Salmon
The unicorn itself looks already tired of being stuck watching this child. It's been days. They should have been back by now.
Sixes
Sixes liked rainy days, when he'd curl up beside the fire, listening to the storm outside. But it'd never gone on this long before, and the citadel was starting to feel a bit restrictive. Maybe they could go outside, or to the depths, where he hadn't been before?
Fore
The small geiger marched in step with Little Fang, a small chicken slung on her back as she followed along, stopping as the hokkan looks to them.
Conomoth
One chaperone skated slowly behind the kids, pretty confident she could smack the shit out of any problems wherever they wanted to go, chicken underarm.
Fore
"Hmm, outside seems a bit wet, maybe it'd be fun to see what is further in this place, we already looked around most of the normal areas..."
Salmon
Once realizing that Little Fang was looking for options Salmon, the aftik chick, quickly points towards O-6's room, Baby needs a new weapon.
Salmon
"Weapons!"
Little Fang
"Weapons? Right here! Squawk." L'Fang flashes his newly acquired collection of knives.
Salmon
"Gimme gimme!"

Hawkmoth decided she wanted to avoid dealing with O-6 again and offered a solution, "Alrighty, mighty pirates. It sounds like adventure awaits in the depths. Try to keep up!"

She started skateboarding at a slightly faster but still manageable speed towards the depths, motioning the kids to follow.
Little Fang
"Ho, mighty pirates! Adventure awaits!" He seems to agree, the Depths it is!
Little Fang
"Keep up!" He bounds after Hawkmoth, leaving Salmon to give chase.

"Woah sneaky!" Fore starts saying.
Fore
"I think you're the one who has to keep up!" She yells, before running after him in a flash.
Salmon
Salmon leads their unicorn which follows galloping into the unknown.
Sixes
Sixes follows, carrying his dan'gersign with him. It hadn't been doing that great recently, emotionally speaking, but he'd been making sure to bring it with him. Maybe they'd find something that'd help.
Bobo Hotwheels
The groups follows Hawkmoth down into the depths. "Do not pass," signs are ignored. When they get to the depths they find Bobo, tapping away on his phone.

Strange mechanical creatures lurk, scrambling around the room.

"Caaaaaaaaaaazooom!"

Little Fang
L'Fang sits and watches the creatures zoom about, mesmerized. They're the shiniest he's ever seen!
Fore
Fore runs directly into L'Fangs back as he suddenly stops to look at the creatures.
Fore
He doesn't really budge as she falls to the ground. "Ow, who put that wall there..."
Sixes
Sixes looks at the creatures intently. They look a bit like animals, but robots! How weird, how cool...
Salmon
"Bo? Bo?"
Little Fang
He snaps out of it when he notices a familiar face...

"BOBO HOTWHEELS. PRINCE OF HELL!!"
Little Fang
But he quickly becomes distracted as the metal chamilo creature zooms past him, and gives chase to catch it.
Conomoth
Hawkmoth snickers at the kid bumping into L'fang. Seems they're just a bit dazed. She's a bit glad there's an apparently familiar face down here.

"Nice style."
Fore
Fore slowly gets herself up, shaking her head a bit before taking notice of what L'Fang was yelling at. "Oh hey again Bobo! You came to see what's back here too?"
Bobo Hotwheels
"Actually I went down here to get away from everything happening above."
Bobo Hotwheels
"Dad said there's some pretty deadly creatures down here but these two were nothing. I beat them up all by myself! Sorry if you wanted to fight them. They're likely weakened."
Bobo Hotwheels
"I figured there'd be something of a bigger challenge."

"It's pretty rad how nice you were to them. Last thing you fought got evaporated." She motions with her paws like a cloud of dust blowing out.
Little Fang rolls a 20 sided die. An 18 is rolled.

The weakened chamilo doesn't put up much of a fight. As soon as it is scooped up, it goes limp, attempting to play dead.

Conomoth
"Hey, nice catch."

The wumpy rushes down a flight of stairs. Unlike other wumpies, this one had a (metal) brain! Sadly this only gave it a sense of fear!

Salmon
Salmon points at the wumpy. "Can I get it?" They want to follow the wumpy.
Little Fang
L'Fang returns to the group and shows off his freshly caught chamilo. "Deadly beast. No match for mighty mighty L'Fang!"
Salmon
"Oh you got one!!! Woop woop!" Salmon is easily distracted now by the chamilo.
Little Fang
"No touch." He flops on top of it. His now.
Sixes
Sixes applauds L'fang's masterful capture.
Conomoth
"Seems like the stake has been claimed pretty thoroughly, huh?"
Fore
"Well Fangsy seems happy with it."
O-6
O-6 comes down the stairs. He seems pretty surprised by the children in front of him. It seems he's thinking about how to react to this situation....
Bobo Hotwheels
"Uh oh."
Conomoth
"Oh, hey. We're doing a thing down here."
Salmon
"The kitty!" Salmon backs up their unicorn slowly gasping.
Fore
"Oh crud..." Fore takes a step back as she holds herself upright.
Sixes
The cat guy? Sixes heard about him. He's pretty mean. He'd better not mess everything up and make them go back upstairs.
Little Fang
That man is wearing gold! "Money man! Moneymoneymoney!"

He refuses to budge from his chamilo, for the moment.
Conomoth
"Nice seeing you again, by the way. I got some cash if we can finish up here."
O-6
"Hmmmmmmm...." O-6 hums in thought, as if he's watching his language for once in his life.
O-6
The idea of money does not seem to interest him. He barely knows what that is. He approaches the group down in the basement, claws ready.
Bobo Hotwheels
"U-Uh do we try to run past him?" Bobo looks back, deeper down the citadel. "Or....."
Bobo Hotwheels
"I can't attack him he's the president, and if my dad hears I killed the notail president he'll be sooooo mad."
Sixes
Hold on, a brilliant idea occurred to Sixes! He always tried to cheer up Booboo by doing fun things, but maybe it was a fighting pet? (He stole it so he doesnt know) In which case, all this time, maybe it just wanted to battle something!

...But. Probably not that guy. He looks strong.
Salmon
Salmon for one is already ready to back down the stairs. "Uh oh, the kitty has its claws!"
Fore
Fore grabs L'Fang by the tail and starts dragging him "BACK OFF WE NEED TO GO!"
Little Fang
"But... money!"
Little Fang
He growls as he keeps his chamilo away from any who might steal it.
Conomoth
"Oh I got you covered."

Hawkmoth hands a FAT STACK to L'Fang.

L'Fang is now [Rich].

Little Fang
L'Fang sings happily. "Ha! Now Fangsy is money man!"

He no longer resists Fore, and allows himself to be dragged deeper.
Conomoth
"Fff-" Hawkmoth starts, before grinding down deeper to try keeping ahead and a close eye on everyone.
Bobo Hotwheels
The group runs deeper into the depths, O-6 following behind. He doesn't quite seem to be chasing them, more annoyingly following them. "Dude he's freaking me out, what does he want?"
O-6
O-6 is just standing there, ominously.

The crew spots the wumpy skipping past extremely shy notails. As soon as they spot the kids and O-6, they dart into shelter rooms and supply boxes, as if scared to be seen.

Conomoth
Hawkmoth has maybe an idea, but...

"I'd just avoid engaging him. A strong guy like you can handle a guy just standing there, I'm pretty sure."
O-6
"Hisssssssssss... >:3" Something is upsetting O-6.

Booboo the dan'gersign [Cries For Help], stressed out by the situation.

[Lobotomy corp OST - 2nd warning 1hour]

There's a clatter from deep in the citadell. A few notails poke their heads out of their hiding spot, as a flurry of ping communications go off. The notails evacuate the area.

The wumpy tries to run away, but something terrible grabs it.

The red faced ancient starts screaming at the children as it charges! "KAAAAAAAAARRRR!!!!"
Sixes
Sixes looks for something to throw at the big monster!
Conomoth
HAWKMOTH RUSHES IN WITH THE CHAINSAW.

Hawkmoth takes aim and charges the ancient with the chainsaw!

Conomoth rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +20. A 28 is rolled.

An extremely solid hit is landed! The chainsaw breaks against its shell but it rips a gap into it, exposing its soft tissue!

Salmon
The Unicorn gently bucks Salmon off going to stand in front of them all to protect them in case the creature attacks.
O-6
O-6 hisses at the ancient creature in an attempt to scare it off!
O-6 rolls a 20 sided die. An 8 is rolled.
The Ancient
"Rrrrrraaaaaaaaaak!!!!" But the ancient seems to call his bluff! It attacks the unicorn!
The Ancient rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +5. A 15 is rolled.

It stabs into the unicorn and flings it down a staircase. It starts taking a short "licking blood off the floor" break.

O-6
O-6 also takes a short licking blood off the floor break!

"SOCK EYE NO!!!"

"Bad insect bad insect!!!"
Conomoth
"This guy's tough. Don't be afraid to retreat if we got it, but you're a brave crew. I got some extra lives to throw if we need, but we're tough too, right?"
Bobo Hotwheels
"Well I could try attacking it if needed."
Fore
"Okay it's uh...distracted! Both of them are...???"
Salmon
Salmon with new found anger attempts to charge the insect, wooping loudly.
Salmon rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of -5. A 4 is rolled.
The Ancient
Salmon tries to attack but the ancient just grabs Salmon instead! It spins Salmon in its hands as if trying to understand Salmon.....

O-6 is trying to understand Salmon too! They're both thinking.

Salmon is now only minorly upset. Salmon laughs a bit but tries to stay focused. "Don't hurt Sock Eye heheh!"

"Alright everyone, I'm the one with the extra selves to spare so let me be in front."
Little Fang
L'Fang is terrified, but not ready to back down! He waves around his beloved (and [Charming]) chamilo-on-a-string, Snowball, in attempt to distract the creature.
Little Fang rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +5. A 20 is rolled.

Snowball rolls on the ground and does a little wiggle!

O-6 pounces on it like a cat toy!

The ancient drops Salmon and tries to pull away Snowball from O-6! It wants to play with it!
Salmon
Salmon wants to see what that new toy is as well. What a fluffy little guy!!!

Fore runs up to Salmon and looks him over quickly, holding him still for a second.
Conomoth
Hawkmoth keeps her bat at the ready but maybe the direct approach is less correct at this point.
Salmon
"LEMME GO I WANNA SEE THE FLUFFY THING WOOP WOOP!"
Fore
"Okay okay we can see it I'm just making sure." She knows it's no use and stays close.
Conomoth
"I'm pretty sure you'll have plenty of time to see the fluffy thing once these guys are done with it."

Booboo is still crying! It's upset and wants the creature gone!

Booboo is pissing O-6 off!
The Ancient
Booboo is upsetting the ancient, it's going to become angry again soon!

Sixes' heart is beating fast, but he can't help but let out a giggly "pow pow" at seeing the grown man play with a worm on a string. This is funny! He wonders what's going on... Maybe there's one thing he can work out though. He picks up Booboo and through its cries and the direction it's looking, tries to work out which of the two is distressing it.

Salmon is running over to look at the toy too.

Hawkmoth reaches to keep Salmon with the group. "Maybe a little bit later, alright?"

Snowball does a little wiggle. Booboo the dan'gersign sees it and calms down....Maybe....everything is ok in the world........

There's a gurgle as Sockeye comes back up the stairs. Floating in the air.

The lights flicker, and for a moment a shadow of some sort of monster appears.

O-6
"Hisssss!!!!!" O-6 turns and climbs up a wall!
Salmon
"Sock Eye!!!" Salmon comes running over noticing nothing wrong.

The invisible creature grabs Salmon.

Conomoth
HAWKMOTH GRABS SALMON AS WELL.
Salmon
"S…sockeye?"
Conomoth
"I think it's time for everybody to head on back." Hawkmoth tries to push herself between Salmon and the force.
Little Fang
"SCARY!!! BOBO, HELP!!"
Conomoth
"Hehe. Yeah. Just. Just everybody get back and let us handle this." Hawkmoth is definitely totally not worried herself about what is about to happen.
Monster
Whatever the thing is, it clashes with Hawkmoth!

It stabs Hawkmoth, and flings her down the stairs! It believes her to be dead, but it hasn't done enough damage for that. The thing clicks its mandibles together as it tries to offer Salmon some blood.

"Okay this is...really really bad..." She looks down at Sevastion, looking the tubuchick in the eyes

Salmon recognizes this. Only now are they starting to get worried.

"Not Sock Eye?"
The Ancient
The ancient beast is terrified of the current situation and scuttles to the ceiling to avoid dealing with this awkward social situation.
Monster
The creature rubs blood on Salmon. Yes. That works.
Fore
Fore nods to herself, rearing back as she throws the tubuchick towards what's holding Salmon.
Sixes
Okay Sixes has seen a lot of weird stuff but he knows danger, like really, really bad danger when he sees it and he thinks this is it. He goes over to Bobo (the robot) and points at the shadow monster currently holding his friend.

"Uh, sure I'll give it a go!"

Salmon clings to the ancient nervously.
Monster
The creature turns around and starts going down the stairs when it spots Hawkmoth. It clicks in anger, but doesn't seem hostile.
Salmon
"Can I go down please?" Salmon asks the ancient. "And can I have Sock Eye?"
Monster
The creature doesn't seem to understand Salmon, and does not react.
Fore
Fore watches the tubuchick splat uselessly on the floor, as the creature casually follows after Hawkmoth, so she scrambles to pick it up.
Fore
"Maybe there's...nothing there, so you couldn't blast it?" Fore suggests to Bobo, before running after Salmon
Sixes
Sixes is confused and frightened, but... he thinks he saw something, in that ancient beast's reaction. It, knows the other one, maybe? And it seemed nice when it was playing with Snowball... His legs tremble as he steps forward, but he looks up at it on the ceiling, trying to meet its eye with a scarvie's gaze, trying to communicate through gestures and sounds that they could really use its help, even if it feels awkward. Please?
The Ancient
The other ancient skitters away as soon as Sixes notices it. It doesn't want to get involved at all.
O-6
O-6 on the other hand, knows what's right. That child does not belong to that large monster!
O-6
It belongs to him! O-6 tries to take Salmon away!
Monster
The creature pushes O-6!
Monster rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +10000. A 10002 is rolled.
Monster
O-6 is turned into dust. The creature is so horrified and [Scared] of what happened, it drops Salmon and backs away.
Bobo Hotwheels
"Uh oh. I might have given it Super hyper powers."
Little Fang
As frightened as he is, L'Fang is determined to stick up for his tasty friend. He notices the bloody thing backing away and approaches. Puffing up, and bellowing out an ear-piercing screech!
Salmon
Salmon reaches for Sockeye before scuttling away nervously. "Don't hurt us!!!"
Conomoth
Hawkmoth rushes in to pick up Salmon, leaving a trail of A SHOWER OF PAPER MONEY BEHIND HER to cover her escape!
Monster
The creature is too [Scared] to chase after Salmon. It rushes downstairs and away from the group. It doesn't want to know what killed O-6, not knowing that what caused it, was itself. Especially with the screeching! It must have been the hokkan that caused the death!
Fore
"....So uh...." Fore watches, stunned, as everything just sort of...leaves.
Little Fang
L'Fang roars sings triumphantly. He knows it was he who scared away that horrible creature!
"Brave Fangsy! Mighty Prince, mightiest! Moneyest!"
Conomoth
"Well, that's an encounter for a higher level."
Conomoth
"You all did amazing, by the way. Scary stuff, but you were real cool."

Sixes is glad to have Salmon back. And thankfully he was distracted when O-6 was vaporized, so he isn't traumatised by that either.
Salmon
"S-sockeye…" Salmon gently taps the unicorn nervously.

There's still that last creature, though...
Salmon
Salmon stares at the group covered in blood. "Mmm… frustrating…"
Salmon
Salmon wonders where the spinning insect went. Maybe they can spin Sockeye awake.
Conomoth
"Sockeye did great too. Don't worry, we'll make sure they get some health and rest. I think maybe we're all a little too exhausted to worry about that other thing for now, though."
Bobo Hotwheels
"He looks pretty dead to me..."

"I can try to revive him."

"N-no he is sleeping… wake him!"

Fangsy's bravado fades as the slightest rustling in the darkness causes him to jump out of his feathers. "Rrrrrrrr. Scary place. Don't like here."

"What is this place?" Fore asks as she looks around. "There were like...notails all around too."

"Don't worry. I think I can do this."

Sixes looks around, but doesnt see the other creature. It must've ran off somewhere. He goes to check on Booboo (the dan'gersign) and make sure its alright. Everything's okay, the scary creatures are gone now.

Booboo the dan'gersign is fine, though slowly sinking back into its usual personality. It really wishes it got to see the danger be defeated.

She walks over to look over the remains of O-6, trying to process everything happening

"… where is sockeye??"

"...we're working on it, apparently."
Bobo Hotwheels
"I turned Sockeye into blood, but I can fix this!"

"Just have to try this a little slower....."
Little Fang
L'Fang nods and chitters in approval. Just like father used to make.

"...so... what if we went and I bought everybody ice cream?"

"Like, the good stuff with the deluxe toppings."

"Ice cream... ice cream money." Fangsy flashes his fat stack of cash.

"I think we should leave before I mess something up."

"I mean you scared off that thing with your lase-"
O-6
O-6 comes down the stairs. "YOU ASSHOLES!!!!"

O-6 points to the ash on the ground. "DID YOU FUCKING KILL MY TAILMIC? >:3"

"Oh, money man is back!"

"No, that thing downstairs did."
