O-5 stands there baffled at the sentence. He was never allowed to mourn the death of any of his pets because of her.

He feels unfairly treated. Jealous that she would allow the Q-class the RIGHT to grieve. Why was she allowed when he had to bottle up his feelings? He wanted to shout the inconsistencies. Demand that the Q-class suffer through the same feelings he once did.

But he finds himself pulling at his metal gloved hands and letting the Q-class leave in peace.
