MAJOR WARNINGS
Social Horror
This is considered a social horror story and pet game. Please assume the worst out of this warning.
Body Horror
Multiple characters are transformed, sometimes unwillingly, into monsters, often leading to horrible physical or mental damage to the character. In other cases, though, said body horror ends up having a positive effect on the character.
Cosmic Horror
There are multiple moments where it is stressed that despite all that goes on in one's life, they're a speck of dust compared to the entire universe. Often this involves comparing one to a living giant cosmic being. Despite this, the media often denotes that while one's life is small, that said life is all that matters in the universe.
Fictional Gore
There are multiple artworks/writings depicting characters being hurt or body parts being torn apart. The artwork is clearly fictional.
Death and Murder
Multiple characters, including main characters are killed on or off screen. Because battles are often controlled by dice and rolls, this means that one cannot ever become comfortable with their character's state of living, as often a bad roll can lead to instant death that can feel unjustified.
Animal Death/Abuse
Multiple animals are killed within this media. Some owners of the animals may also engage in abuse of said animals, such as kicking them/transforming them into terrible beasts or outright just eating them.
Abuse of a Digital Being
The media has a focus on the fact that while the game being played appears to have intelligent beings within it, it is still a game. As such, players may engage in actions that normal game players would do, such as killing, harming, or verbally insulting these game beings. It must be stressed that these players are not depicted as evil but as enjoying a video game in their own way, the same way one might make a backup of an elder scrolls game, and then proceed to kill everyone for fun.
Abuse (Generalized)
There are depictions of mental or physical abuse (but no other type) within this media.
Dehumanization
Characters are sometimes treated as if they were not real people who could make mistakes and improve themselves, but as flat, unchanging, non-improving beings. This dehumanization often has heavy mental impacts on characters.
Eye Strain
There are multiple images using bright colors or fast animation. As such, this media is not recommended for those easily affected by this.
Realistic Depiction of Animals
If any sort of realistic depiction of an animal, including but not limited to close-ups of insects and canines, troubles the mind, this is not the media to engage with. Note, realistic depiction of animal death is always shown via usage of just showing off skeletons, silhouettes, or a combination of both.
Selective Breeding
This topic is sometimes brought up when talking about pets. This is often paired with the discussion of "culling" (The act of killing an animal that one owns in a quick manner) of "low-quality" animals to ensure future breeding potential.
Classism
Linked with the social horror warning, classism is depicted in some parts of the media. Said moments often show characters higher up on the social ladder being preferred to others. Some characters have become so used to the issue that they do not even realize what is happening. The classism depicted is not based on any real-life event or culture.
Weapons (Generalized)
There are a wide array of weapons used in this media, including knives and guns. Many are used to attack other characters, but some are also used as set dressing to a character's design.
Oppressive Governments
There are multiple overly controlling governments mentioned within this media. This warning usually goes hand in hand with the social horror warning. Sometimes citizens under the government are completely happy, and the oppressiveness may come from how said government treats those outside of their control.
Religion, both fictional and inspired from the real world
Both fictional religions and real religions are depicted within the media. The most notable fictional religion is "Limboism," a religion centered around hating a group of nine gods for being flawed and thus harmful beings. In terms of real religions, the Abrahamic religions are sometimes brought up.
Unfair endings / "Bad guy wins without punishment"
Not everything ends in a happy ending. There are multiple major events where a character or group that may be seen as "the bad guys" wins without punishment and is even rewarded for doing bad deeds. Some of these moments are due to the narrative, but some of these moments are caused by bad dice rolls.
The Unnatural World (Complex Warning)
WARNING: THIS SECTION CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT THE STORY AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU HAVE ALREADY SEEN THE "UNNATURAL WORLD" IN THE STORY, AND ONLY IF YOU FIND YOURSELF GENUINELY CONFUSED OR DISTURBED BY THE CONTENTS. SCROLL DOWN IF YOU ACCEPT THIS WARNING.
What is the Unnatural World?
The Unnatural World is where humans live. It is a reflection of our own world, but with one big issue. There's a godlike hyper intelligent being called the Sun, that is an alien known as a singularity. To the Sun, humans are an endangered animal that needs assistance. It does not see it and mankind as even remotely equals and instead regards them as wildlife it is maintaining, and sometimes even as pets. It has been using selective breeding to optimize humanity.
Are the "intelligent aliens" really all that intelligent?
The singularities do not believe in death. When they consume another person they gain all knowledge of that person as if they were in their shoes. With millions of lifetimes at their disposal, they are able to make choices humans cannot. When you see a singularity speak to a human verbally, that is it talking "extremely simply" in the same way humans might talk to their dog. When singularities talk to each other, they gaze into each other's eyes, transferring 1000s of lifetimes between each other, and silently coming to a conclusion based upon the many new lives they have experienced. Yes. They are intended to be considered astronomically more intelligent than humans.
Is this about eugenics or selective breeding?
The correct term for a situation like this, is selective breeding. This is when mankind selects traits they want to see in an animal.
What's the difference between the terms? They feel about the same.
It's about history. One of them is mankind's force on mankind, the other is about mankind's force on animals. For many many important reasons we do not get these two things tangled up, because to do so would be to lessen the impact of mankind's actions against mankind by equating them to livestock. That's not good, and is not what anyone, especially this story, would want to imply.
The selective breeding aspect feels uncomfortable. Is that intentional?
As per the title on the top of the screen, this is a "Social Horror." The uncomfortable feeling is intentional. This is a story about animals, except the author feels imposing our feelings and thoughts on animals is counterproductive to the wellbeing of said animals. A bear is not "Sad" because it looks sad, but we are troubled because we do not know the emotion state of a bear because we only know our own training in human emotions.
As such, instead of writing a story where human thoughts are imposed on animals, this story is about humans living in a situation inspired by the world we often put animals in. It is easier for a human to guess how a human feels in a large enclosure with food and water than it is for a human to guess the same of any animal. If this story is too uncomfortable to read that is fully understandable and we thank you for taking the time to understand.
About the breeding aspect....
Let's cut to the chase. The Sun employs consenting sex workers to interact with consenting adults. If there is no consent on either end, no one has sex. If the sex worker aspect is still scary, that is great as the media also shows off that this aspect is still uncomfortable to think about for many humans. Most humans (more than 99% of them) will never be contacted about the Sun's plan, nor will they be halted in their own attempts to fall in love and have children with other humans.
Are the human "animal" species races?
No, they're closer to jobs. When you hear someone say "I hate birds" replace bird with "government workers" and it will all make sense. The human animal species lack many of the experiences that make up what we have in our real world. For example different animal humans do not have different history and culture, they all share the same one.
I have a hard time viewing these intelligent aliens as more intelligent than a human....
Have you ever, despite your vast knowledge, your access to the internet, your endless love and devotion for your animal, and all your past experience caring for an animal, fumble up?
Once, I held a bird that was dying despite all my efforts, advice of the local vet, and medication, in my arms, and I thought, "How could all the collective knowledge of humanity fail this bird?"
What is this story REALLY about?
Everyday I go outside to confront my chickens, animals I love dearly, knowing full well I have been deciding their fate for them, and choosing which ones live and which ones become a meal. It is in these moments I realize that there are other, larger creatures in this world (Though we cannot fathom them as "living beings" as their structures and goals are alien, and hard to comprehend or control for one person.) that do the same for me, and that at any moment one of them could end it all.
Stop giving me medication, kick me out my home, decide to stop delivering food to my supermarket, close the pumps on my water, remove all ways I communicate with others, or frankly, just come over and kill me for no reason, and I'd be helpless to do a thing.

MINOR WARNINGS
Stalking
A notable character in this media engages in stalking behavior. The stalking depicted is not romantic in nature and is done in the belief that "bad people" should be followed and recorded, and their actions should be shown to the world because people who they deem as "bad" do not deserve privacy and should have every action judged. There is also a case where a character follows and forges a marriage with a character, not for any romantic reason, but because said character has healthcare they are not using, and the stalking character wants free healthcare.
Drugs, Drinking, and Smoking
Characters may sometimes, often offhandedly, mention they engage in recreational usage of weed (or allusions to weed), booze, or cigarettes. This is often more than not just used as set dressing for a character's identity.
Suicidal Ideation
Some characters denote wanting to kill themselves. This is both used as a dark joke and a serious consideration, though the former is more common than the latter depending on the character. Some characters may engage in getting killed for the greater good, which may be considered a type of suicide.
Pregnancy
There are multiple instances of animals being pregnant. Often this is played off as a joke.
Child Loss
There is more than one event where a parent loses their child to a government body due to perceived or real child neglect.
Childhood trauma
Some characters have suffered physical or mental abuse in their childhood (though no other type), which may have an effect on their behavior as an adult. Most abuse is only implied by adult characters as something that happened, but at least one scene shows a child berated and physically harmed.
Torture
There are multiple sections in which a character is caught in a trap and tortured. This is often via unrealistic means, such as killing and reviving a person a million times as a punishment. Characters who are tortured sometimes suffer physical or mental damage because of it.
Pirates
The pirates in this media are not the "Cool" type of pirates. Pirates are rare in this media, but when they do pop up, they often casually bring up murder, kidnapping, and other disregards of other people's lives.
Slavery
Most of the universe in this media is against slavery but the event does happen, in particular with pirates and the species known as the "vampwelfs," a vampire-inspired species that enslaves others to work for them.
Hate involving another's gender, sex, or orientation
Nearly all of this universe is very accepting, but notably the species known as the vampwelfs, who come up much later in this media, are inspired by Victorian-era culture and overamplify some of the cultural issues of the time period.
Racism between two different species of alien
While there are very few cases of interspecies racism, racism between alien species is semi-common. Some characters have become so used to the issue that they do not even realize what is happening. No insult or theme is rooted in any real-life event, though.
Eugenics
There is at least one species of alien that engages in eugenics via the act of throwing away children who are "far too incorrect" either mentally or physically, allowing the rest to live.
Cannibalism
There is at least one case of a character losing their mind and eating another character. There is a vampire-inspired alien that kills and consumes other intelligent aliens. Lastly, there is "dubious" cannibalism, in which an intelligent being is turned into an animal, which is then consumed by other intelligent beings.
Sex Mention
Characters may make innuendos towards each other, engage in flirting, or imply that they have had sex at some point in their life. Characters may also make jokes, such as saying that robot sex is the transferring of data. Any sex mention that is considered too lewd is disabled from public viewing, but there are very, very few of such events.
Hate of Religion
Some characters consider religion to be stupid and may try to trick or abuse religious characters via usage of their religious beliefs. There is also a scene where some religious people are killed, but this is not actually because they are religious but because they had an infectious fungus. "Limboism" is a religion centered around hating the gods, but the religion itself is not hated, just the gods.
Conspiracy Theories (Fictional)
At least one character engages with talking about conspiracy theories, though all theories mentioned are things about the world of said media and are not about real-life conspiracy theories.
