Yu begins to clean their room again. They keep close attention to the computer, waiting for a reply. Today they noticed more crows outside. Three in fact. The two new crows perk up and shout as Yu pushes trash out, as if they didn't believe the first crow that it was true.

Yu wasn't sure why they had avoided this for so long. Most of the trash was just containers of eaten meals....though, as they pull back the next layer, they find a note they had printed out a long time ago.
"I hate you. You ruined my life. We were all just trying to help you."

Yu rips up the paper meticulously. It isn't enough to just rip it into halfs, or even quarters. It is ripped until not a single letter on the paper is recognizable. There's a mess on the floor now, but with the paper ripped apart, Yu can only think about how they've cleaned more of the mess than they haven't. They pull out more trash, and notice more of the same.

It's trash. You're better now. (You...hope you're better.) You try to rip them up, but it's taking too much time, plus, it would cause you to have to sweep the small bits. You start putting them outside intact. The crows pause, cooing and cawing at the papers before taking them away. You grit your teeth. As if crows could judge you. They can't. Crows were not born to judge anyone.

Yu returns to pulling trash apart. Still waiting for that reply.

That's a dead animal under the trash.

Whatever. It's trash. This skull is trash. Yu drags the corpse outside and throws it on the pile. The crows screech in fear for a second, before all of them gather in silence, heads bowed. You ignore the the corpse and think about how much you like birds. How wonderful they are. They're intelligent, unlike other animals. After the funeral is done the crows pick up the body and whisk it away, and you continue pulling out trash, growing annoyed by the delayed reply.

Yu uncovers another skeleton soon after.

Each island on this world had a set of rules that must be followed. No one liked them, not even the government of this world, but they had a purpose. For on each island existed a person, a prisoner of their own mind in rehabilitation.

The animals, are incidental. Much like a supermarket being built in a forest, the animals and supermarket were separate entities.

Alarms blare as you escape your apartment and rush in a random direction. Wild animals in your way panic and flee. The crows chase after you.

On the island of Self, there was only one rule. One law. If broken, the island faced total annihilation. One must trust and speak of birds.

"Hey! Hey!!! It's ok buddy! Calm down! Caw-Calm down!!!"

"Leave me alone! I'm nothing but a menace to everyone! I'll kill you.....I'LL KILL YOU!!!!" Yu dodges past the street lamps that lean forward, trying to catch Yu in their hypnotizing light. Claws out, Yu launches forward. Crows scatter everywhere.
Crow
One crow spits in hate. "If we leave now, we can dodge the island getting blown up."
Another snaps back "We're the ONLY birds who haven't left. If we leave, we're never going to get to sleep at night!"

And it was true, for on the island of birds, there were very few to be seen anymore.
With each bird that left, a containment breach became closer and closer to a complete island ending situation.

Finally one crow says something that causes Yu's rampage to halt, if even just for a second. "This all wouldn't have happened if the fucking prisoner just ate Cowboy! Released him while we suffer!"

I mean, of course the animals are fucking scared. Some assholes set up a DAMN PRISON in their forest. They don't know anything that's going on! I think it's kind of cute, the rituals they started doing to calm down prisoners so the punishment of prisoners wouldn't affect them. Really nice bit of evolutionary traits in action. I love these little guys."

The Zoo
The animals start cheering. Wings and horns raised to the red thing in the sky the gives them life and protects them.
The sun, in response, shoots a column of fire that barely misses many of the animals.

"Pssst pssst!!!!! Aye! You animals are getting too used to people! Shoo! Get fucking moving! You better be happy it was just me who's giving you a warning shot! Imagine if this was someone who actually wanted to hurt you!" The sun hisses as the animals begin to flee.

"Containment successful!!! Yay!!!! Let's bring our catch back home!" The crows gather Yu, and each does their duty to drag the large prisoner back to their home. It would be a long time before the effects of the lamp posts wore off, and Yu would awaken out of their haze.
