Edger Drakken
"Ellen! The guests are at the door! Do not disappoint them! One of them is a Prince!"
Edger Drakken
Edger notices something about Ellen, he flicks an ear in thought. "Come here, girl. Quickly."
Panel Ellen
Panel quickly scuttles over with her multitude of legs and stands up straight before the lord as she wipes some tears from her face, "Yes, sir?"
Edger Drakken
Edger sighs, taking out a napkin to help Panel wipe away her tears while he fixes her dress. "You are always a mess....." He grumbles, more cursing who created her, instead of the maid herself.
Edger Drakken
"There there, you look a tad better now."
Edger Drakken
"We're still going to need to sell you on being...a "freak" though....Go ahead, get the door. Please try not to cry front of them." Edger holds out his silk napkin. "And if you do, try to cry in a more refined manner."
Panel Ellen
She weeps and apologizes, "I-I'm sorry I'm a mess! I'm trying..."
Panel Ellen
She chokes up a bit and asks, "How do I cry more refined? Have I been failing that this entire time?"
Panel Ellen
Her engine hums a bit louder and she hyperventilates a bit, "I-I, got to keep it together! Slap me or something! Shock my senses!"
Edger Drakken
"Never just, with your eyes out. Cover them. Look away from people."
Edger Drakken
"When you cry in front of people, that's when they know you're weak, Ellen, that's when they strike."
Edger Drakken
"Not that I think our guests would do any sort of thing, but this is a lawless sector, you can never know, lowly Maid Ellen."
Panel Ellen
She wanted to cry more about this matter, but she was aware of the guests coming and silences herself. She swallows deeply to compose herself and tells Edger, "Yes, Master Edger..."
Panel Ellen
She attempts brush her hair tendrils and check her looks last minute before she works up the nerve to hurriedly open the doors for the guests.

She looks away from them to hide her minor sobs and greets the group, her fish tail swaying close to the ground, "Hello and Welcome to the Edger Household."

Edger Drakken puts his face in his hands. He can't believe she called this rented house the Edger Household. First off, it was Edger Drakken, and second off, "Household" was too formal for a rented abode! Maybe death was still an option?

Laplace's expression softens slightly when they observe Panel. "Hmmmm, gracious me, and I was worried, that it would be fuzzy fuzzy, stiff figured mammals all the way down, this one is positively melting."

Panel curls into herself slightly and hides a bit of crying born from a minor confusion of if "melting" was a compliment or a insult.
With a small, weak, "mph...".

Edger swoops in to save this awkward introduction. He stands behind Panel, placing both of his hands on her shoulders. "Most pleased to meet you all. Castellan Edger Drakken here to welcome you."

"Please mind the maid. I'm a......"
Edger Drakken
"Collector of unique and interesting workers." He carefully words his punishment to get all the "Freaks" by his family because he's a "Freak" himself.
Panel Ellen
The small push makes her honk softly and she gets the idea. She cries a little and motions for the others to follow her, turning tail to them and scuttling along with her engine faintly humming. She at least could lead the group to their seats. "Right this way."
Bernard
He tilts his head to get a better look at Panel, raising a brow of curiosity. "Uncommon sight there.." His attention snaps back to Edgar. "You and I both, good fellow Drakken! Glad to make your acquaintance."
Edger Drakken
"Please, please. Come have a seat, my friends. I invited you all here because my knight heard you two went on a very.....interesting adventure, and I wished to hear about it. Especially from royalty." Edger nudges Panel to take the guests to their seats.
Laplace
"Oh yes, never you mind it, always keen on making acquaintance with people who understand proper decorum and due deference."
Laplace
("Even if they are fuzzy mammals.") Laplace mutters softly as they make their way to their seat.
Bernard
Bernard follows suit. "Yessss, interesting. Much learned, but not much gained I'm afraid. Ah, but I have plenty to share at the very least."
Edger Drakken
"As castellan, there is nothing I understand more than decorum. You won't find a speck of dust or traces of blood in any castle I reside in." Edger claps his hands to summon another servant.
Skeleton King
His knight walks by, avoiding looking into the eyes of the guests as he places a platter of food samplings.
Skeleton King
He locks eyes with Panel though, pointing his chin as if to inform her to follow him.
Edger Drakken
"Please do tell. I wish to know as much as possible about this....dragon. One that I am slowly starting to believe does not exist." Edger pulls out an old article.
Edger Drakken
"Says here, that some tailed came here to see the "Radical" ages ago, and were duped by two sailors and a carpet."
Edger Drakken
"I believe, these cursed islands are nothing but a lie."
Panel Ellen
Panel follows after Skeleton King to keep out of everyone else's way unless someone calls for a beverage. When out of earshot she asks Skeleton King, "Yes?"
Skeleton King
"Hmmp. These guests seem rather fanciful."
Skeleton King
"Do you think they might be carrying their wallets?"

The serpent slithers out from the back, a small tray with drink glasses on it shifting back and forth on its tail as it moves over towards the other servant and Knight of the house.

Panel Ellen stares at SK and says, "I think most people do... You aren't thinking of trying to take them, are you?" She sniffles.

"Why not? Haven't you learned dear Ellen?" The knight hooks a single finger under her chin to make sure she looks him in the eyes.
Panel Ellen
She looks him in the eye with one eye.
Skeleton King
"They aren't vampwelfs. Everything in this universe belongs to the vampwelfs. I do not care if some other disgusting species gets angry. Their money is our money."
Skeleton King
"You want a little extra pay, do you not, dear maid Ellen?"
Skeleton King
"Then we steal it."
Panel Ellen
She stammers out a weak opposition, "B-but if you mess up then Edger would get really mad! If I helped and messed up... He'd get really mad at me!"
Skeleton King
The knight covers his mouth as he laughs at Ellen's comment. "Oh, and what would Castellan Edger do, dear Ellen?"
Skeleton King
"He doesn't have the drakken guts to kill you for your theivery. Not for aliens!"
Buster
Buster looks up between the two speaking "Why would you get in trouble if everything belongs to vampwelfs?" It adds in.
Panel Ellen
She lets out a long and conflicted whine, but she is too scared to do it, "He'd yell at me still and I don't want to be yelled at..."
Panel Ellen
"I don't want to mess up and be caught! It'd be so, so awkward and they might punch me and my limbs will fly off and I'll explode!"
Skeleton King
"Well Ellen, consider this..."
Skeleton King
"Do you know where most of our maids go? Why they disappear so often?"
Skeleton King
"A maid with money could disappear in a positive way....instead of being the blood left over after the parties."

After thinking a bit she decides to help, wiping tears out of her eyes, "I-I'll have to deny it... I don't want to mess up anymore then I already have and trouble the master... Sorry SK... I don't trust myself not to mess up again."

The knight huffs. "Always the maids I'm paired with that are too scared of some danger...."

Bernard folds his hands, looking sternly ahead. "We, as I and the Polynoid saw what the robot has been calling a dragon. However I have a few misgivings on the authenticity- However it's possible that it IS in fact, an actual dragon."

"What's your interest in the anomaly, if I may ask?"

Laplace stands upon their assigned seating, not wanting to admit the scale issue until their host notices. "Yes, It is as my green fellow here says, we certainly saw a colossal anomaly that sailor was very confident was a dragon."

Edger notices Laplace standing on their seat. He thinks to himself, "How quaint. These aliens have no concept of sitting. They would have asked for pillows if they required it."

"My albino coloration dictates my luck, thus my family has sent me on this important mission to track and bring back the dragon." Edger leaves out all the parts about this being more of a mission given to annoy him. A castellan really should not be outside of his castle.

"I'm unsure if what is under the ocean is a dragon, but I have gathered info on some ancient text about dragons."

"It says within it, that dragons live in a dimension separate from man. In the same way that emotions and fear live within our minds. Have you two heard such things?"

"Then I'm afraid far more effort will be needed. Not only is the beast massive but you have other trouble on your hands, mainly concernin' the Robot that's dug their heels in. I've studied, and on a surface level this sounds much more like Singer's territory than any sort of Dragon anomaly. But... 'team ups' are not unheard of. Singer and Radical, or perhaps Sleeper? Interesting, uncommon."

"Singer anomaly you say.....I happen to have one of those....."

"Maid Ellen, come here. You're a blessed beast aren't you? Did the dragon look anything like my maid here?"

"The master is calling. Good Luck...", Panel Ellen tells to SK before she walks off to heed the call of Edger and stand before the guests.

"Maid Ellen, how did you get yourself into such a state? Explain it for the guests."

Buster follows along after Panel Ellen, the drink tray rocking a bit as it goes to finish the delivery. It slowly turns about, leaning down to grab the tray in its mouth, and carefully places it on the table for the guests.

"Ahah, just as I thought!" He lays his hands down, leaning over to view Panel again. "She's a wonderful specimen of Singer's craftwork, if I may add."

Laplace grabs a drink off the tray "So that maid is an anomaly then... I see, now that you mention it I suppose she does seem like that thing's doing."

She wheezes sharply upon hearing the request and with some sorrow, she tries to recall the events leading to her current state. She looks to Edger if she really must...

Edger doesn't see any difference in her mood. She's always near tears.

After a moment she comes to tell the story of how she is what she is, "I don't remember too much of what happened before... I was a Quelan, riding backseat with someone in a leather jacket. A lowlife kind of type. I think we were both intoxicated... Please don't judge me..."

"How scandalous. Drinking." Edger states sarcastically.

"The motorcycle we were both on had a head on collision with a truck and person on front was crumpled along with me and the bike, I hardly knew what hit me as things faded and I found myself awoken in a absolute nightmare." Panel Ellen says uncomfortably as she tries to pull herself a chair to sit down in and as tries to not choke up.

"A blessed hospital, a singer hospital. I didn't know why I was there or how I got there. What I did know is that they were using illegal means to keep people alive and even then... Barely. Everything ran on cycles, deteriorated, most went mad or turned to the undead. I don't know how I came to be blessed or the exact nature of it all..."

"But it was horrible!!! They gaslit you about treatments and butchered you in horrible ways! They kept you ill, pitiful, helpless to satisfy their own egos. They told me I was sick! Take my medicines! I'll get better one day!" Her motor runs fast, picking up and reving a little bit too loudly with a bit of blood sprinkling from the exhaust pipes on her lower back.

"Are you really going to make this poor woman recount more of her tale? There's no dragon to be seen in it." The knight says as he walks behind the seat of his master.

Buster looks around after having heard Panel Ellen's story. "Oh, you were talking about the dragon in here? The creature larger than an island?"
Panel Ellen
Panel Ellen concludes with explaining to the guests, "The nature of my blessing isn't helpful... It is useless. I can only make motorbike noises. It has ruined my once sweet voice with hot exhaust."
Bernard
"Aye, she's a beaut. A singer hospital, something I'd like to see for myself one of these days." Bernard speaks to himself, running his fingers along the brim of his hat, rubbing a bit of blood between his thumb and forefinger that had splattered on him.
Bernard
"Now with that out of the way. What is known; There is a blessed object that is causing the dead to return, but as fish. On the surface, you'd think Singer- true, but there's enough of Radical's stench all over this as well. Transformation into wildlife for one."
Edger Drakken
"I want to hear about this...artifact."
Bernard
"So would I, Drakken. In fact, I'd like to not only hear more about it, but See it for myself." Bernard grins and drums his nails against the table.
Bernard
"The Robot knows quite a bit about it, from what I've gathered. But the rust bucket bastard slapped me down over a camusken. Can you believe that? What do you think people even make the damn things for."

"Castellan Edger, I think there's only a few ways to get a dragon to appear."
Skeleton King
"Short wet alien. Come here. You, Prince."

"............" He was in the middle of negotiating and talking over something interesting. Bernard continues to drum his nails.

"Oh wow, so dragons appear in two different ways?"

Ridley crawls over Skeleton King, but this doesn't really stop him if anything, it makes him more [charming].

Panel Ellen
Panel Ellen sees that her attempt to make SK jump at having a large bug on him failed to defuse the situation of marriage somehow and sulks, "I'm a failure..."
Skeleton King rolls a 20 sided die. An 8 is rolled.
Skeleton King
Despite the really [Charming] bug on him, pointing a gun at the person he wants to marry is negative attractive points. He's still kind of a gross dead corpse.
Skeleton King
"You really won't marry me?" Skeleton King asked in a serious tone as he lowered his weapon.

"Yes, sir." Panel Ellen says as she was eager to scuttle away before she was ordered by SK to carry the Polynoid to the dungeon.

"Dragons don't typically come from the dead, is my point in this." He keeps his attention on Edgar. "They're manifestations, representations. When enough individuals fear something, a dragon comes into being. Something grand, something Massive."
Bernard
"....And our supposed dragon. I've been wracking my brain as to what it feeds off of, if you have any guesses. It's violent, it shows its face when the robot is particularly enraged..." Still rambling.
Buster
"Oh yeah, it showed up when the captain got really upset about all the shell snails being killed at once. No one was afraid."
Bernard
"Precisely, apollo." He nods, deep in thought. "...Well. No Person was afraid, that is."
Bernard
"My guess is as good as any's at this juncture. I've seldom heard of dragons being produced by the collective fear felt by animals, but ah.. there's hardly any dragons to witness to begin with..."
Buster
"And then a normal sized robot with cool sword appeared out of nowhere and dueled the dragon on the island to protect a krell."

"You know, I do wonder what you might do after bringing the dragon up. It looks too large to fight, even that powerful robot didn't beat it... it just vanished."

Bernard snaps his fingers. "Point again, apollo! We've never seen it in flight! That's the marker of Sleeper, but ah it's not always so simple as no wings or HOW the anomaly flies..."

"It's got fins. Seein' it actually jump out of the water, how it moves might narrow it down a little... Any way to drag it onto dry land, really..."

It had come to this, The Prince had no intention of staying in a skeleton's dungeon, short as it would surely be. They attempt to bonelessly squeeze squeeze out of their predicament. Much like a squid.

Edger Drakken
"Oh, she's a gift to the Prince? Carry on then." Edger plainly states this, as if this sort of thing was normal.

"Right....so..." Edger rejoins the civil conversation with Bernard. "...there is no need for a dragon if there's an artifact that brings people to life."

"If we just bring dead dragons to it, we can have new dragons."

Buster happily slithers off to get some more supplies, not really getting the point of food.

Panel has just delivered blood to Edger and was about to ask SK about getting her Ridley back from him before she was then subsequently picked up. She assumes the worst, "Nooo! I don't want to disappear as a blood stain on the floor! I'm a good maid!"
Skeleton King
"You should be thanking me dear maid Ellen!"
