Apollo laughs as he turns around and slithers his way back.
As soon as the two are far enough, he falters. This isn't how he thought things would go.
The people here were nice to him, but he couldn't put his finger- err, tail on it.
His sister didn't understand, but she cared. So he was unhappy.
These people understood (mostly) but they didn't care. So he was still unhappy.
