Over the course of the last few days, it became apparent to everyone of an oddity of the city of carnivals.

No one brought it up, but as Z-19939 hiked alongside he couldn't keep his mouth shut any longer.

One could not go far in this landscape without spotting a Kratos unit perched on a rooftop, using its beak to sharpen each "feather" of their wings. This was not for appearances, as in a pinch there wings are used as a deadly flurry of knives.

The Kratos' always knew when they were being watched. They hopped from rooftop to tent, following their targets for hours at a time.
