The clowns in the hotel seemed nervous when you left today. Ms. Frizzlewig the Helpy Welpy clown was nowhere to be seen, but you figured you could hunt your own creatures.

Parts of the city were unlit, and with the entire planet being stuck in an endless night, you struggled to navigate without a flashlight.

Turning a corner you came face to face with two glowing eyes.

At least, that's what you thought. These "eyes" were speeding towards you. Realizing that it was likely a car you leap and roll to the side.

After your near miss with death, you leap up to yell at the driver for nearly killing you, when you come face to face with gnashing teeth that smell foul with blood.

You're able to run, but then a shadow dances above you.

The thing that is chasing you has jumped into the air, landing and blocking your way.
"Don't be afraid."

"I'm just trying to help!!!"

The massive deer abomination swings its horns around. Inches away from turning your skull into a fine paste.
"You look so scared. Don't be. It's just me!~"

"Ms. Fizzlewig, the Helpy Delpy clown!~"

"Clowns."

"Clowns."

"You all fooled me! You told me, making others happy would work. That I would be loved, as long as I didn't hurt others."

"You all lied to me."

"We give her love. We give her shows. You clowns, you've done everything for her, just like I have done everything for these people."

"And has OUR kindness ever been rewarded? Has she ever been repaired?"

"We have enacted a show just for HER for YEARS and does she NOTICE our WORK?"

The ropes begin to loosen as the zannis start to think about her words.
"Yes, that's right. We do nothing but help."
