With their first pet caught and obtained, G-1094 felt excited about their work so far. This "pet catcher" business was easier than expected. They take a look around and find two sets of trails.

One leads to meat factory.

The other leads to the tallest building in the city.

G-1094, still feeling pretty confident after the last encounter, mused over the choice of trails. While aware that meat and animals were in some sense intrinsically linked, they felt that the tall building would probably contain something easier to trap. At least their trustworthy friend, Gloria was here to help them.

"Gloria, I think we should go to-"

"...the.... tall... building <:)?"

Where... did Gloria go? Who was this giant alien in front of them again??

"Are you... here to help <:)?" They really, really hoped so.

"I'd hope so, we've got a pet to catch in that tall building, correct?"

"We have many things to do, so we must continue onward."

"That's... yes, that's right. We should keep going. <:)" They're pretty confused now... but everyone else seems to think this is normal, so what can G-1094 possibly do other than keep going?

Maybe things will make more sense as they get to the tall building...

The group approaches the building. It lacks a handle, only a button, which the G-class pushes.

It takes a few seconds, but the door to the building opens. Standing in the small elevator is a single arise. "Arise!"

It shuffles to the side to allow the three to get in.

"Hello!" Absolutno waves both of his right arms at the arise.

G-1094 steps into the elevator when the arise clears space for it on instinct, before blinking and looking down. "Wait, arises can run elevators?"

"I didn't know that before, is that new <:)?"

"What a lovely attendant. Hello there." The lucevian comments, making her way into the elevator

"I don't see why not," he comments, similarly stepping into the elevator.
Arise
The elevator door closes once all three of them are inside. The arise breathes heavily as it stares at the buttons, as if trying to make a choice.
Arise
It swings back at the group, chipping in with a curious "Arise?" as if to ask them what floor they're going to.
The group takes a closer look at the elevator buttons....

  6. You try to read the text for this floor, but you swear it keeps changing.

  7. Blort Park | 1st Floor

The G-class stares dumbfounded. Is this what alien elevators are like?

"I expected there to be more floors to be honest."

"Oh, floor 6 sounds like it could be fun."

"There is no Sixth Floor, they have done away with those years ago."

This must be why aliens need to hire an arise to operate their lift...

"Are you sure? I'd figure they would have removed the button."

"Well, we're looking for pets, right? So we should go to the 'Blort Park' floor... But the most important animals would have to live on the top floor..."

"So it has to be between them. Does the arise know where we could find a capture creature <:)?"

The arise stares at G-1094.

It blinks. It is a capture creature.

Absolutno stares at the arise as well.

Starlis stares at the arise in unison.

"A.....rise?" It seems confused. It must not know what's being talked about.

"My vote remains on option 6."

"Oh, sorry. I suppose that was a silly question..." They seem confused for a moment, but quickly rally. "Wait, you aren't from the crashed ship, are you <:)?"

They look at their companions. "..."

"Rise! Rise!" The creature barks out. It slaps its tail against the wall of the elevator. It taps the button for the Basement, the -45th Floor.
Arise
"Rise!" It stares at the others, and motions to the buttons as it trying to tell them to put in their own floor choice themselves. It shuffles to the back of the elevator as it descends.

"Oops!"

("Why was I asking an arise questions anyway... <:)") G-1094 reaches over and pushes... the Blort Park button. At least they know what to expect from Blorts...
Arise rolls a 20 sided die. A 9 is rolled.

The arise stands patiently as it waits for the elevator to reach the basement. When the door opens it trots out. "Arise! Ariseeeee!" It sings. The doors close as the elevator heads back up to the first floor.

It is of no surprise to the group that the blort park is filled with blorts.
But there was something unexpected in this wonderland of grass....

"Mmmmhherm???" Spike jumps out of the grasp of G-1094 to approach another notail hiding within the blorts.

Looking around, there was no walls in the park, despite it being inside of the building. There was only clear blue skies above.

Honestly, G-1094 couldn't work out why O-3 was bringing this stuff up at all. Didn't K-9 say something about questioning why people did stuff? But that's so difficult...

"That is a good guess, but not right." O-3 takes out a camera, beginning to record the group. He focuses on Spike, who jumps side to side to avoid the glint of the camera. "You see, it's not always the obvious answer that is right."

The group leaves back to the elevator. They are forced to drag "Spike" with them as after it had laid down it simply refused to get back up ever again.....

What a strange traumatic beast.
