People passed Lulove by as she curled up on the floor of the village. She shivered as if cold, but even when a kindly person wrapped a blanket around her, she did not stop.
"She was fine just yesterday, and then it was like the world collapsed on her." One passerby says.

Following the fight, both they and Rat_king didn't hesitate to go looking for LuLove. After camping down for a day and tending to burns and wounds, they decided to go looking for their Dragonkin friend after skulking around into a village.
It was a relief to finally remember her name.

Finally making their way through and asking nearby villagers, they paused as the passerby commented on it.
They turned their head towards 'King before truly approaching and gave a worried look. "There she is, and by gods does she... she looks like a mess."

Rat_King gives a solumn nod. "Certainly seen better days, aye. Though so have we." He clenches his fist slightly, feeling the creeping wood of the infection in his body stretch and ache.

"Best not to keep her waiting though." He carefully approaches LuLove, crouching down by the dragonkin's curled form, gesturing for Rum to follow suit.

Lulove, spotting her friends, grabs the leg of the Rat_King. She pleads to him. "I felt fine! I felt....free! I forgot that Raloud was dead, I forgot the pain of my dragon, I forgot that Comet was murdered!"
RUM
Rum gently walks forward and kneels as she speaks.

"And then......and then suddenly I remembered EVERYTHING again. I felt like I could take it but....."

"I don't think I can! It feels like my mind is on fire! Why did this all happen to me?"
RUM
They place a hand on her shoulder and gently squeeze as she lets her emotions out. "Lu, breathe. Breathe. Give yourself a moment."

Rat_King recoils slightly at the grasp at his leg, a sinking pit gnawing at his insides, knowing her renewed grief and remembrance was in part due to her regaining her name once more. A feat that both of them had accomplished.

Lulove pulls on her own horns, as if she could gain any relief from doing so. "I just don't get it! I remember being so angry about everything, but then I left that weird lab and I felt.....free?"

A group of seizing birds eat from trash left out. One squawks at the group, feeling more like a laugh than a bird call.

Rat_King's eyes shoot daggers in the bird's direction, as if it would know his intentions, before turning his focus back to LuLove.

"Well," Rum sighs, glaring at the seizing bird. "Would you like to know the truth of what happened?"

"-and, I'll say this, just for once, before I say anything else. I've had to face the past of the awful shit I did before I was who I was. Those sins are on my back every day. But I have 'king. I got you, I got other idiots we meet and pets that we gather on these blessed journeys."

"The fey of loneliness preys on those who are lonely. Stealing the loneliness all for himself! Only he can feel terrible in this world!"

The bird shifts into the form of Lumii. "You've given your friend her memories back, but also her pain!"

"I stole all of her connections! She had a fresh start ahead of her to find a new dragon, a new lover, a new friend!"

"But you've given it all back to her!"

"Mind you....I didn't do this from the kindness of my heart...."

"Before we ponder on solutions, uh...It's not... much, but it's something, we wanted to give you this little guy we found on our travels. In our absence. Kinda looks like... a duck dragon, reminded us of you. Just something to help protect you." Rum briefly wanders off, and comes back quickly with said 'duck dragon'.

"IT'S UH, ACTUALLY A FALSE DRAGON THAT LEADS PEOPLE AWAY FROM DRAGONS, AND REMOVES THEIR FEAR OF THE DRAGON SO THEY CAN WEAKEN THE DRAGON ENOUGH TO KILL AND EAT IT."

The draufganser quacks but doesn't bite Lulove.

"On one hand, it's sad that my power from my dragon is so low that it doesn't even recognize me as an enemy....but, I guess it's ok. It's nice to have something to care about."
Lulove flips a 2 sided coin. A 1 is flipped.
The draufganser suddenly springs into action, taking away Lulove's blanket before snapping at her arms.

"OUCH OUCH OUCH!" Lulove is too weak to flee very far. As she drags herself across the floor, the draufganser runs circles around her, honking and hissing.
