Bellodonna had almost forgotten the troop, truthfully, she had begun to feel a degree of excitiment, roiling in her blood. Nontheless. "Nnn, yes, the puppy. Unfortunately I was very sharply told not to let her go, you see, it would be a pity if she wandered off in the woods and caused... problems..."

We may be able to ignore what happens to aliens, but this is a bit much. Ah, don't worry though, Princess. Perhaps this lady just holds secrets that may need to be kept under the table."

"What are your plans of attack, Princess of Drakkens? Shall the Dawn Knights go full force, and allow you to take the final blow, or shall you duel with the beast first, and we shall step in if you fai- need a rest?"

"Tsk, I am not as arrogant as to think I can take such a beast on, when he was alive few were fit to challenge, and I doubt becoming a monster has made them less so..."

The Dawn Lord motions for his men to attack while he and one other officer hold back, building some oddity. A lance on a tripod. "Hold him back men, while we prepare for a strike he'll never forget!"

The Mad Knight says not a word, silently aiming his rifle at the Kin Slayer.

And though blinded, Hilda makes a move to stab the beast.
IT'S A CLASH!
Kin Slayer rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +10. A 21 is rolled.
Hilda Drakken rolls a 20 sided die. A 9 is rolled.
Dawn Knights rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +10. A 29 is rolled.
Skeleton King rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +5. A 22 is rolled.
Kin Slayer
The Kin Slayer grabs the Dread Knight. Before he can take a bite out of her, the Dawn Knights surround him, swords powered by batteries glow red hot as he is stabbed. The wounds are cauterized instantly, not allowing any of the Kin Slayer's blood to spill. Only as the Dawn Knights back away to get their bearings does the Mad Knight fire upon the Kin Slayer.
The blood pouring out of the gunshot wound makes every vampwelf on the team become more violent with their attacks.....

"You can attack me all you want with your men! You will never take me down for I have BEATEN DEATH HIMSELF, SISTER!"
Kin Slayer
"You can smell it, can you? The scent of DEATH will drive you INSANE, as it did to me in LIFE."

"I will HEAL from my WOUNDS but you WON'T."
The Kin Slayer ignores countering as he attempts to ram into the group with his massive body!

Bellodonna puts her Brother's words out of mind, as she takes to the sky for a diving strike to his head.
Bellodonna rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +3. A 22 is rolled.
Hilda Drakken rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +3. A 10 is rolled.
Dawn Knights rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +13. An 18 is rolled.

The Kin Slayer holds his wings out in front of him as the small army once again slices into him with their heated swords. He seems to laugh at how excited the vampwelfs are as they do so. Hilda stabs him with her lance, causing another hole in him to erupt in blood.

When Bellodonna stabs him in the head, the light coming from his eyes flickers off for just a moment. He goes completely ridged, as if about to collapse, before he shakes his head, trying to throw his sister off. "Oh sister, you always said I didn't have a BRAIN, and now, well, I don't NEED ONE."
Skeleton King rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +5. A 6 is rolled.
The Mad Knight tries to shoot the Kin Slayer in the head but critically misfires......
Skeleton King rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +5. A 14 is rolled.
....at Bellodonna, throwing her off the head of the Kin Slayer without her weapon!

"Ooooooh thank you, WOMAN. You've always been a helpful SERVANT OF MINE."

"T...That was a mistake......"
Kin Slayer
"Well let's see how the people think about your mistake."
The Kin Slayer shakes his body. The extra open wounds inflicted on him causes blood to coat the area.
It was a trap! There's too much of the foul blood! The vampwelfs have been tossed into a FRENZY.

The Kin Slayer pulls out the sword impaled into him. He's preparing for a powerful attack!

While the scent of foul blood addled her senses, the searing pain of an errant gunshot wound grounds her just enough to think of more than to just attack. "Ghk... calm thyselves, remember your valor and avoid that foul blade's bite... King, I still trust in your firearm... do as you will..."

The blood made the others go mad. For once he was the only sane man. To avoid being consumed by the madness the others fled away from its smell. The Mad Knight stood the only man against the Kin Slayer.
Skeleton King
To avoid the Kin Slayer from interrupting the Dawn Lord, he was going to need to stand between him and beast. Empowered by Bellodonna's words, he takes aim, and fires.

Kin Slayer rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +21. A 41 is rolled.
The Mad Knight completely froze when he saw the Kin Slayer raise his blade at him.

"Why won't you SCREAM for me, at least once? Pretty please?"

"No...No...." He can barely whisper.

"It's ok girl....you always hated your name right? Called it...what was it? A dead name?"

"WELL, LET ME GET RID OF IT FOR YOU!"
The Kin Slayer reaches over to chop off the head of the Mad Knight......

Lorelei forces a change in fate. The Kin Slayer drops the Mad Knight as it spots the Dawn Lord's weapon trained on it.

"LIGHTNING LANCE IS READY! DRAGON. GIVE US YOUR POWER. KILL THIS UNDEAD BEAST!" The Dawn Lord and his engineer have turned the lance into a cannon. It opens up. An impossibly bright light fills the forest as electricity grows within the machine. "FIRE, MY DRAGON!"
Dawn Lord rolls an 100 sided die. An 82 is rolled.
A beam of energy fires out of the railgun. The Kin Slayer is consumed by the light.
Kin Slayer
Burned all over his body, it seems he is limp and dead....but....
Kin Slayer
He blinks. "Heee heeee heeek bleck! Aaaah what a weapon that is......you gave the Dawn Knights their dragon back sister...? Ha ha ha.... Oh you will regret this, unless I fix your mistake for you." Burnt flakes of skin fall off showing healing skin under it.

"He is stirring? Even after that attack?"

"You can't kill what is already dead, you fool."
The Kin Slayer stands back up, sword in hand.
Kin Slayer
"I am no SIMPLE necromancy."
Kin Slayer
"I am PRINCE! I am LORD of DRAKKENS, and SOON TO BE KING OF VAMPWELFS."

"You are neither Lord nor King yet, and as long as I live you never shall be, monster, I rebuke you, this world has no place for an abomination such as you, and I will cast you back into the black abyss with my own hands, no matter how many times it takes."
"What a lovely battle, isn't it?" One fey says.
"It's disgusting. Look at how death troubles life." The other replies.

The Kin Slayer was ready to fight with his sibling, when those two feys appeared from the forest. He turns ready to escape.

But the fey of Mourning stands before him. It jumps up and lands on the head of the beast. The flesh where its hooves touch him curl and rot, spreading like an illness. "You've cursed another with your illness. It is time for you to be mourned, like you should have been the day you died."
Kin Slayer
Chunks of flesh from the Kin Slayer slough off in piles. He drags himself to his sister, suddenly feeling a heavy weight upon him. "Siiiiiiiister....Kill it.....KILL THIS MONSTER ON ME."
Kin Slayer
"KILL IT....BE...FORE IT KILLS US ALL."
Kin Slayer
"The darkness of death is upon me......and it will come for you if you don't stop it."

With the sudden change in the tension, the pain abruptly caught up with her, and it took an effort to remain standing. "I... am sorry... brother... I do not believe I could do that even if I wished to..."
Bellodonna
"I will try as best I can... but in the meantime I think you should sleep, brother... and do remember that it is unbecoming of a Prince to fear the dark, a vampwelf is born to the darkness, live in the darkness, and return, inevitably, back to the darkness... I am sorry that I failed you in this regard as well..."
Kin Slayer
"When we were children, you promised I could have anything....anything I wanted." The princely beast suddenly whined as his bones became exposed to the air. "I just want....one last thing......you know I always get what I want..."
The Kin Slayer can hold himself up no more. He slumps to the ground as his body becomes nothing but bone.

The Kin Slayer has been mourned.

The Mad Knight grips the floor of the forest tightly, frozen in fear at his near death. When he lightens up his hold, he swings towards Bellodonna. "I.....I'm a monster.......I am nothing but a puppet to his memories."

The overwhelming feeling of death hangs over the Mad Knight. He suddenly wants to beg for his life. Flower Trove had planted an invasive seed of doubt in his mind. It grew into him like an aggressive weed. He lowered his head, and stood silent. It would be Bellodonna's choice.

He was a mad man after all. He couldn't know right from wrong.

There was a disgusting mix of relief and dread in his heart. "I will respect your choices, and stay as sane as a Dead Mad Knight can.
