Of all the misfit parties that could possibly be strolling up to the tailed priest's house, in broad daylight, Seven had to hope that the loyalty of his current teammates hinges on them being either the most impatient, or generous customers of his in existence.

Because he was kind of over it. He was already over it before, but it's clear now. He needs his thumbs back.

Seven clumsily plods alongside the small group as they approached Long Fur's residence, sporting both a small satchel around his waist, and a toothy grin as he eyes his partymembers.

Beeatrix skipped along side the Trio and stood out among them like a sore thumb with her cheerful demeanor and award winning smile.

Beeatrix goes ahead and equips her genius disguise for the purposes of this delivery.
Mmmm. Perfect.

She tries really really hard to ignore the dragon that sends small shivers of fear into her normally fear proof Apidee constitution.

He reaches into his fannypack and retrieves Pesto Scampi for the apidee.

Pidge nods to seven, and starts backing away for Beeatrix to do her Thing.

Beeatrix kindly tries to take the Shimp from Seven's gatory paws and skip on over with a joyful buzz towards the front door of the Longfur estate.

Longfur looks through the peep hole.

Longfur opens the door.

Beeatrix acts like she is preparing to hand over the Shrimp, lingering long enough on the deal to let her accomplices approach!

Longfur grabs the shrimp. It now belongs to her! Longfur twists Beeatrix body to give her a tattoo of her name on Beeatrix!

Seven notices the door budge, and makes a scamper to the entrance!

Pidge quickly jumps into action and attempts to hold door open as well.

DD accompanies the others, flanked by two dangersigns.

Longfur transforms!

Longfur turns into a mythical creature!

Seven had started to retrieve this evidence from his satchel, when he's cut off midway by Long Fur changing forms.

He falters, taking a couple paces back behind his teammates, clutching the note in his mouth.

She, as a Apidee, wasn't really afraid but she was concerned and surprised by the odd creature the Priest turned into... But clearly they were gearing for a rumble and Beeatrix was happy to engage in some thrilling wizardly combat!

She had no spells to her, but she did have a champion of a beast she brought along.

She puts her fingers in her mouth and whistles to summon forth her noble queenly steed, Elizabeth the Queen Bee!!!

Longfur points to DD.

Beeatrix attempts to climb ontop of the giant bee named Elizabeth whom she summoned forth and get herself settled ontop of the noble looking giant bee.

Pidge snatches up the paper from Seven.

....Pidge's blood turns ice cold viewing the paper scrap.

Longfur attacks with her full power.

Longfur grabs DD and slams her into a wall! Something has broken for sure. DD cannot walk or command her pet.

Of course, DD can't understand Seven's panicked barking. But he barks nonetheless.

Beeatrix ushers her Capture Creature Elizabeth to buzz forth!

DD isn't sure who's talking to her. She can't make out the words over the immense amount of pain. The strings in her back feel broken (among other things), fluid leaking from their strands. That isn't good.

Longfur bats Beeatrix from DD.

Beeatrix wants to push on to help DD, but she knows if she gets knocked down like DD, she'd be useless to everyone involved.

She directs Elizabeth to stand back, the giant bee chittering angrily at this scene.
Suffice to say, Longfur didn't seem nice, but she is pretty sure they have their reasons in this moment... Still, it wasn't nice to break every exoskeleton plate in DD's torso..

Pidge.. takes a moment to swallow his pride. Or what little pride he had left. He holds up the paper...

O-11 rips the paper in two!

Longfur turns back to normal before putting her tail between her legs and getting on her hands and knees.

O-11 walks forward.

Beeatrix takes advantage of this distraction and attempts to direct Elizabeth to collect and pull away DD's body.
Beeatrix has a very, very bad feeling about this and needed to get some distance.

Longfur is grabbed and is being torn apart, starting with her tail. Fur flies, as Longfur screams.

A few legs twitch towards DD's back as Beeatrix drags her away, pushing through strings meaninglessly.

She tries to climb back ontop of Elizabeth in preparation incase she is called upon again and gives the Giant, slightly Nervous Queen Bee a reassuring pat.

O-11 isn't listening as he peels back more fur.

Pidge panics- and goes in to wrap his arms around O-11 from behind. He leans in, even if every fiber of his being wants to turn and run.

...Seven makes a dash to go grab the tail, amidst the carnage...

O-11 turns around as Pidge approaches and wraps......

A skinned tailed pelt around him.

Longfur has been slain.

Seven picks up her tail.

He drags the tail back over to DD and Beeatrix, eyeing Pidge and O-11 as he backs away.

All they hear is guttural barking, naturally.

The Poetnix grabs Longfur.

Longfur's soul is stuffed inside the book.

The mess that is Longfur rises up. Limbs bent in horrible ways.

She should not be alive, and yet she is.

Seven drops the shredded tail in shock, as the mangled tailed shifts around.

Beeatrix was distracted for a moment by Seven making gator noises at her.

As he approaches the bugs, he eyes Pidge, wary, in case O-11 decides to aggress again.

Pidge clutches the pelt.

DD continues to twitch aimlessly, and a few of her legs seem to be bending the wrong way. Chittering sounds leave her mouth.

Seven starts to corral the [Sacrificial Luck] sign over to DD.

Longfur's flesh begins to contort.

Pidge is backing away...

Longfur digs her claws, or, what is left of them, into the ground. Flesh and mouths erupt forth. She may have been skinned, but the emotional pain in learning that the gods were cruel had just empowered her.

DEATH CHANCE. RUN OR DIE.

Seven scampers over to his pig, trying to climb aboard with the tail and get OUTTA there.
...He catches a glance at Pidge and O-11 as he climbs aboard. No time for that. Pleasantries will have to wait another day.

Beeatrix does not understand Seven at all unfortunately... She does work with animals enough to get the gist but she only figures out that maybe Seven wants her to do something!
Beeatrix looks and sees that Longfur is also doing something now and that steals her attention a bit as she squints into the distance to figure out what is happening.... Oh no.

O-11 didn't understand what the issue was. To him, the skinned Longfur was still dead. Still, he heeded the call of his lover to escape.

DD is pulled along onto Elizabeth, barely aware of whats happening but still trying to help shift her weight. She knows they have to go.

The group is forced to escape. There was no helping Longfur without a risk of death, and none of them were willing to take the chance.

Longfur struggles to breath.
