The karuhongsa is apart of the false dragon family. Flocks slowly grow around the locations of powerful dragons. The soothing presence of the karuhongsa causes those around them to seek to understand their fears, especially those around the dragon. As locals stop fearing the beast it slowly withers away into nothing, its anomalous energy fed upon by the growing flocks of karuhongsa.

The draufganser, another type of false dragon, is closely related to the karuhongsa. When the two species meet they travel around and honk at notable landmarks like old friends catching up.
