Mushbirds are apart of the Mycoincubito family, a close relative of the Mycoallum, or clockwork family. While mushbirds, and their related members are peaceful compared to clockworks, they do carry the same goal of spreading as far as possible. This species is highly affectionate and will perch on and nuzzle their owners often. After their owner dies their corpse burst into a fungal network of mushbirds ready to take flight. It should be noted that mushbird spores do not cause the demise of their owners as the fungal infection only becomes active upon death.
