Traits
[Pirate Accent] Neutral trait
This character speaks with a certain accent from a certain region or species, a lisp, has a speech abnormality.
[Stylish] Neutral trait
This character has an affinity for fashion, and will often have a large wardrobe. They have a tendency to change their clothes often and put together outfits they find appropriate for their situation.
[Adventurous] Positive trait
This character will answer the call to adventure more often than not. With this trait they are more likely to run into places with more loot to be found. This character is less daunted by certain situations and morale is raised whenever they're put in an adventurous situation. This character may have fears, but they're willing to meet it face to face.
[Auto-Translator] Positive trait
This character can translate what a person is saying even without hearing the language before.
[Observant] Positive trait
This character notices things far quicker than most other types of characters. They are more likely to make observations about hidden passageways or certain special objects. They overall make better judgements than others.
[Infamous] Negative trait
This character is known and widely hated throughout the universe. They may have to deal with people avoiding, getting mad at, and/or refusing service to them.
[Killer] Negative trait
This character is willing to kill in order to solve most problems, and may have absolutely no problems with doing so. This may result in a character threatening to kill people ahead of them in a line without hesitation, and following through if not taken seriously.
[Sadist] Negative trait
This character is a jerk. This character actively dislikes the fact that other sentients continue to exist, or some other thing that makes them inherently behave with intense dislike to other living beings or non-living beings. If they are able to watch someone die without being too negatively affected by that person's death (ex: ship no longer having a pilot), they will watch. Possibly with popcorn.
[Stereo-Blind] Negative trait
This character is missing or blind in an eye/multiple eyes which cause them to have no sense of depth. Due to this they are more likely to make mistakes and miss when aiming a weapon.
[Well Armed] Ability trait
This character is armed to the teeth and as such is never without a weapon. If you don't equip a weapon to this character and they need to fight, they will pull out a random weapon that they "happened" to have on them that was never mentioned until now. How good the weapon is depends on a roll.

Physical Description

Terrence Blowskowl is far from the most atypical looking of aftiks. Noted as being fairly handsome and well groomed, but his only actually unusual feature is his above-average height. He's most noted for his sense of fashion. Whichever mood he's in, he'll be wearing rather flamboyant and eye-catching clothing. When pretending to be a kindly, non-murderous aftik, he dresses in a friendly, and endearing fashion, that screams "I am a nice guy, who can be trusted."

The rest of the time, of course, he dresses in a stereotypical 'pirate' fashion, including his dashing coat, trimmed in gold. He's blind in one eye, and thus taken to wearing an eyepatch when in 'pirate' mode. His most prized piece of his wardrobe though, is his tricorne hat, which he has been known to murder people for touching, even if he had ordered them to touch it in the first place.

Personality

It should first be understood that Terrence is, above all else, a manipulative, deceitful man. Most people who know him would describe him as "affable", "friendly", "approachable". He comes off to just about everyone as nothing so much as a typical and kindly aftik. He exudes an air of trustworthiness and respectability that convinces many to share with him their deepest secrets.

In reality, Terrence is an awful, no good, evil man. He delights in bring pain and suffering to others. He would sell out his best friend for a handful of points and the opportunity to point and laugh about, probably ask for filming of the occasion so he could treasure it forever. Terrence isn't particularly keen on friendship and any appearances to the contrary are in service of his malign ends. He doesn't befriend people, he acquires them to be used.

History

Terrence grew up on an unknown aftik colony to mundane aftik parents. He grew up mundanely, bordering on the point of mediocrity, but all in all, he was nothing notable growing up. At some point thereafter, he signed up on the crew of a ship. He swiftly endeared himself to the captain and the crew, everyone considered him amongst their dearest friends. If this was anybody else, this would all be very heartwarming.

For reasons only fully known to Terrence himself, he grew dissatisfied with his life as an honest spacer. He swiftly rallied the crew into a mutiny against their captain. The captain never saw it coming, and who would, it was Terry, his dear friend and cohort. The captain was promptly dangled outside the ship and left to die. Unsurprisingly, given his charisma and popularity, the crew unanimously elected Terry as the new captain, at which point he declared that the crew's new charter would be one of raiding and pillaging, of flying free without restriction, morality or remorse.

Special

None.

Trivia

• Due to what he attributes to a vaguely alluded 'poor upbringing' Terrence is inordinately fond of 'the finer things in life'. Gaudy coats, fancy hats, and the finest of drinks. Terry spends the majority of the loot he gains on these lavish gifts to himself.

• Terrence's past is a sore subject for him. To the point where he once had a man's tongue and eyes removed for being too annoying about the issue. And for wearing the same clothes as him to a party. Terry's funny like that.
