"Holy wars ripped our society apart, until a tailed who had spoken to all the gods, gaining a single tail with each discussion, ended the wars. She told the people that all gods are correct, but the god you should honor, and hold above all else is the god who listens to, and cares for you the most. The wars ended.......but something was horribly wrong."

"The wars had damaged the Radical and the Sleeper. Once, there were creatures known as dragons, entities of fear. The Radical and Sleeper tailed worked side by side with these fears in the distant past."

"And yet...when I peer outside and call back to my god's holy beast, they do not show themselves. But they are there. They are trapped, I believe. Only a few dragons escape each year from whatever holy domain holds them back, and I am told, one of them resides here."

Abyss Horse flicks his tail. He gazes through the pages of his book, stopping on the moment of the command, and then the incident. "No. She asked for this for no reason. She just wanted to see this man dead. I did not stop the event, for she told me, if he did not die, she would send a great storm to drown this place and all who lived within it."

"Yesterday, the Creator asked that an innocent man be fed to a machine. There was no reasoning that he gave other than that he hated the man."

"I could not stop this event as well, for the Creator told me of the terrible beasts he would bring should his desire not be met. Either the gods got their way, or they would commit even greater crimes."

"Abandon your quest. Go to a place where the gods love their people. On this planet, I only hear hateful words. The gods use this place as a plaything, and when you attempt to stop them, they throw great tantrums that rock the ocean."

"Once, the gods awoke me in the middle of the night. They made me rush out to the beach, and on that moonlit night, I saw the gods toss a hundred corpses into the ocean. They sank like rocks. They wanted me to see their powers were not just empty threats. They could raise the dead, and kill them again. That I would join the pile at the bottom of the sea should I ever stop them, or warn others."

"The gods are not cruel!"

"Maybe not to you, but to me I have witnessed them time and time again torture life like toys. I am starting to believe the gods are not as innocent as I was taught."

"Incorrect. You are misunderstanding their messages, clearly! The gods are innocent. They no more want us dead, then we want a rodent we accidentally crushed dead. All of their murders are accidents. The Radical's great storms are caused by her flying. She never intends on causing damage!"

"I dare you to speak foul of our god again."

"As children, we chased rats willingly, catching them between our teeth, killing them, and leaving their corpses to the soil to rot."
Abyss Horse
"At home, our mouths were clean. This is what I believe. To the gods this planet is a field of rats. To be hunted, to be trained upon."
Abyss Horse
"You see the gods after they have washed their mouths, cleaned their paws, and smoothed their robes. I used to believe the gods were innocent."
Abyss Horse
Abyss Horse opens his book to the latest page. "Tomorrow, the gods will burn down a home. The next day, the gods will kill a local fisherman."
Abyss Horse
He shuts his book. "Will you stop the will of the gods?"

"I would never stop the will of the gods."
Abyss Horse
"Then you agree that the gods are capable of willing evil?"
Longfur
"No, I think you've lost your mind! You're blaming accidents on the gods."
Abyss Horse
"All of these things I have said, will happen. If they don't, the gods will bring an even greater terror to this world."
Abyss Horse
"I have no dragons for you, high priest Longfur. Only warnings that the gods are foul. Leave this place while you can, before a god calls for your demise."
Longfur
"If this place is so terrible, then why are you here?"
Abyss Horse
"I have been informed, if I leave before I am told I can, I will cause the horrors to appear."
Abyss Horse
"The gods have tortured me ever since I went on a mission to spread their words through the universe. Everywhere I go, I hear them tell me of the horrors they desire."

"The more I look into the book of Obmilism the more I see holes in the words within. Situations misinterpreted. Words with double meanings."

"The book of Obmilism is a warning, not a book of praise!"

"These poor souls......" Longfur paces away from Abyss Horse.
Abyss Horse
But Abyss Horse shouts out to her. "Will you heed my warnings?"

"No, you're fucking out of your mind!"

"There's a reason Radical tailed are not to read, nor write, and you disgustingly do both! The Poetnix, the Divided, and the Mirage are punishing you, and only you. Abandon your book of falsehoods before you kill someone with your delusions!"
Abyss Horse
Abyss Horse shakes his head to himself, mumbling. "Before I kill someone? No. I would never."

"All deaths, are the will of the gods, and the blood is on their hands."

What are dragons?
Dragons are a manifestation of fear and terror as depicted in the Books of the Limbo and Obmil.
Though, it should be noted, in this universe, the book of Limbo has not been written, yet.


They appear in many shapes and sizes, but are most frequently seen in young civilizations, especially those who have not hit the age in which they begin their control over basic elements. Though what these "elements" are depend on the species and society.

Dragons are a reflection of the society they appear in, and thus change with them.




What summons a dragon?
In Limboism dragons are seen as the cause of natural disasters, especially as this is when they most commonly appear. Obmilism on the other hand does not see dragons as summoning these events but being summoned by these events.


Dragons appear whenever long term mass fear lives. Farmers worrying about drought year after year would bring forth long heated scaled wyverns who can burn the dry grains in massive fires. Citizens fearing for the death of their king during his aliment can bring about a serpent in the shape of a cup, with liquids unknown and deadly.

As long as there is fear, there are dragons.

....and yet....in this universe, the dragons are missing.
