"Hearken, forsooth! Slain in noble defense of our sovereign liege, hath this valiant warrior met his fate. Once hailed as our mightiest champion, a scourge upon our foes, the passage of time hath wrought upon him a gentle weakening. Behold, he beheld yon knight of tender years, hailing from a realm estranged, and rather than felling him upon the spot, our aged hero extended an invitation to sup together, to impart unto the youngling the ways and customs of our land, and to ponder upon the possibility of peaceful coexistence betwixt our two realms.
