The Alchemist and Ketonels ride out of the dungeon tunnels on the back of the shark bombat, eventually departing and stepping shore on solid ground. Neither wanted to swim, the Alchemist because he would fry, and Ketonels because he didn't want to get his fur wet.

King Ketonels
"So much for being a prison planet, they can't even learn to lock their doors, ha! Don't they know that's the first thing you try once they get out of line of sight?"
The Alchemist
The Alchemist dusts himself off.
"Perhaps, but considering the whole place is a prison of sorts, I don't think they're too worried about it. Besides, aren't you the one who enjoys letting prisoners go when you know we can easily track and kill them? What's to say that's not O-5's game?"
King Ketonels
"....I didn't think about that. Fair point, tin can."
The Alchemist
"And this is why I'm the brains of this operation. Just keep on the downlow, and for the hate of the limbo, don't run off insulting people, and we should be able to keep under the radar."
Minky
Nearby stands Minky, On their phone. Their hands shaking as a moment ago they where speaking to their mom and the next moment they heard a thud on the other end-
"Uh- mom? Mom!? oh geez-"
The Alchemist
The Alchemist turns and glances from a distance, side speaking to Ketonels.
"....though...I might ask you give me a moment. I think there's someone who might need some attending to."
Minky
They hear the sounds of several footsteps on the other end and someone else picking up the phone, It was definitely the doctors–
"Mom?!"
Minky
They stifle a sniffle as they're told that 'She's just passed out again. OvO'
"O-okay…Please, Don't drop her-"

Ketonels rolls his eyes. This isn't the first time this has happened. He could care less about the kid.
"Uh, fine. Go tend to another waste of time and effort. Come get me when you're done."

With that, Ketonels hobbles off, leaving the Alchemist do his thing.

The Alchemist gives his companion a stern glance as he hobbles off, but does soften his expression as he carefully approaches, kneeling down to meet at eye level with the child in front of him.

The blort by their side protectively curls around Minky, Looking at the Alchemist with wide eyes.

The Alchemist
The Alchemist keeps his hands to his side, posturing as friendly as his frame and dress allows him.
"I don't mean to eavesdrop, but I know enough about hospitals to know that things don't go well when doctors get involved. It's alright if things aren't okay, you don't have to put on a brave face for everyone."

"Parts of it, yes."

The Alchemist
The Alchemist extends a hand proper.
"I suppose we should introduce ourselves, at least. I'm the Alchemist of Norrev, pleased to meet you!"

"And I'm Minky! And thats such a cool name!- Reminds me of some show I watched awhile back-"
The Alchemist
The Alchemist gives a geniune look of curiosity.
"So that so? What show would that be?"
Minky
"..M-Maika Fleshwarper- You look like the Count from there actually!"
Minky
"Cool cape and all!"
The Alchemist
He chuckles, giving a dramatic pose and a vampiric hiss to go along with it
"I suppose I do..."
Minky
"Hehe! I kinda wanted to wear a cape around when I was younger!"
Minky
"But then the ones I made kept getting dirty and I didn't want to add on to the laundry-"
The Alchemist
"Well, I don't think my own compatriot would lend you his, as much as it would fit you better, but I believe I do have a solution..."
The Alchemist undoes his cape, setting it on Minky's shoulders and fitting it onto her.
Minky
"A! Oh my gosh!"
Minky
"Cape!"
The Alchemist
"Cape!"

He looks over his handy work, giving Minky a thumbs up.

"Don't worry if it gets a little dirty, I can always wash it when I get off this planet."
Minky
"!! Thanks! Uh this is really cool!"
The Alchemist
"I'm glad you enjoy it, though I suppose we shouldn't stay in one spot for too long. There are still a few dangers out and about here, and I wouldn't want you getting hurt."
The Alchemist
"Besides, there are a few things I can show you, should you ever need to use them."
Minky
"Hahh- No kidding- I saw someone get sucked into a black hole dog- This place is crazy-"
The Alchemist
"A black hole dog?"
Minky
"…It was uh- Mr.Zapp's Grandma's dog- It uh… Its a long story-"
The Alchemist
"...tell me about it as we hit the road. I'm sure we can walk and talk it out."
Minky
"O-okay- Psps! C'mon Aurora! We're going!"

"bark!"
Aurora gets up and wags her tail, ready to follow!

The two saw only two locations they could go. Towards the castle, or deeper into the urban maze that was ever growing, with skyscrapers rising like bamboo in the sun.


The Alchemist
"What say we head into the growing town? I may or may not have a few folks that might not enjoy my presence in the castle, but we might be able to explore the underneath, at the very least, if you wanted to go to the castle."
Minky
"I don't think they'd want me in the castle either… The doctors told me Miss Princess isn't the nicest to aliens."
The Alchemist
"From what I've heard and seen....I can certainly agree. The weed has certainly curious though..."
Minky
"They got weed in there?"
The Alchemist
"Some, yes. Though you're a bit young for that."
Minky
"I didn't want any anyways- I just kinda think thats funny-"
The Alchemist
"Fair enough."
The Alchemist walks towards the city with Minky
[Igorrr - Tout Petit Moineau]
The two head into the city, quickly becoming lost in its endless streets. The more stable locations were becoming more active, as corrupted consumer aliens lined up for blocks outside of the few stores that have opened up managed by the larger shrimps who displayed their goods to the crowds.

The crowds did not care what the shrimp showed them, they grabbed at each other and battled for even a gaze at the objects.

Two people stood out, or well, one person an a steed.
Rye
"Come on King, I want to see. ;w;"
King
The steed was heavily damaged. It looked like it shouldn't have been able to move, but as the young notail tried to move around the crowd, so did King, pushing the notail away for his own safety.
The Alchemist
Seeing the stead that his companion injured, the Alchemist brings the others with him off to the side as to not be seen, though still trying to keep within visual range.
Minky
Minky yelps upon seeing King- Oh no oh Lyriieneth its that horse!
The Alchemist
The Alchemist whispers to Minky.
("You too?")
Minky
("Miss Bonbon got kicked into the void by that unicorn-")
King Ketonels
("Why's it always got to be unicorns...")

Someone touches the back of the Alchemist.
"Sir, I have a deal you just cannot ignore!"

The Alchemist
The Alchemist's screen flickers back for a moment.
"Wha- who goes there?"
He draws his weapon instinctually, but does not fire.

"Sup. uvu"

The Alchemist is kicked back into the open, but not badly damaged. The crowd suddenly goes hush, mouths open agape as they look down at him.

Then one of the shrimp pulls out a new item, and all fears are gone as they return to grabbing at supplies.

"Escaped prison now did you? You know that's a death sentence, yeah mate? uvu"
Minky
"Hh! Mr.Alchemist!-"
The Alchemist
The Alchemist stands up after getting, knocked back, readying his ray gun.
"I think you might want to get out of here, Minky, unless you feel like getting on shit list of a certain Princess. As for the escape, I think you'd find the only death sentence is messing with the wrong villian, spring action."

FIRE!
Minky
"!!! B-but!"
The Alchemist
"GO!"
Minky
"O-okay! I'm going I'm going!"
Minky flees- Picking up their dog aswell-
The Alchemist
"This is my mess, I'll get myself out of it."
The Alchemist rolls a 20 sided die. A 7 is rolled.

O-5 dodges the shot with ease, approaching the Alchemist with not a shred of fear. For a second it looks like he wants to say something, but instead he chuckles, flexes his fists and jumps in the air.

O-5 rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +10. A 14 is rolled.

He misses slamming down on the Alchemist, but manages to scrap into him using the nails of his feet.

"Tell me your final words, mate. uvu"
King
King attacks!
King rolls a 20 sided die. A 1 is rolled.

But in King's attempt to attack O-5, O-5 grabs him by the horn, lifts up the steed and tosses him into the crowd.
"Don't get in the way, stud, I ain't doing anything wrong. uvu"
The Alchemist
The Alchemist grits his non-existant teeth, nodding to Ketonels
"I am here with a child, and you want to attack me unprovoked? Is that your best?"

Minky had not run far- They sit in an alley crying- It always seems like someone gets screwed over when they're around…

"Using the child as a defense mate? That kid needs to toughen the fuck up if this will scar them for life. Seen worse shit when I was 10. uvu"

Ketonels goes to grab the notail child!

"Aww, he even called you dad! Surely that's gotta mean something to ya, huh?"
Ketonels is just going to use them as a child shield against incoming attack.

O-5 puts the Alchemist's head under his feet. One twitch of muscle, and that's all it would take to end the AI's life.

"Got a one track mind mate. Gonna bust this guy's head open, and then we'll see about yours, yeah? uvu"

"You like seeing your child? You pop his head, they're as good as mine."
Minky
"…I'm going to regret this so much.."

King rises up....

AND CONTINUES BEING THE SINGLE MOST USELESS DEFENDER IN THIS EVENT.

"Ketonels!!! Give him back!"
Minky runs towards Ketonels, Aurora whimpers as she follows her owner
King Ketonels
Ketonels holds a sharp claw up to the kid's throat
"Aww...come on. You suuuure you don't want the kid? Look how killable they are~"
King Ketonels
"All it'd take is one little cut, and poof! All gone!"
King Ketonels
"So...what'll it be?"

"That's about how much it takes to kill you, mate. uvu"
King Ketonels
"Hands already on the trigger, 'mate'. Come over here, and the kid dies. Simple as."

O-5 gets his foot off the Alchemist and hops towards Ketonels and his (adopted) child.
"You're about to trade your owner's life for your own. uvu"

Minky makes a dash away from where they where to the alchemist- Worriedly looking back at Ketonels before fully commiting to the run

The Alchemist, sits up, a bit battered.
"I...I thought I told you to get out of here..."

"I-I can't just leave you here- You'll die- C'mon- While he's distracted!"
Minky tries to pull him along

The Alchemist isn't going to fight Minky on it, getting pulled along
"Sorry about the whole evil thing, King. No hard feelings?"

O-5 suddenly stops in his tracks.

"Frankly this is insulting, mate. Flip that vermin away from you yourself. You're not that weak. uvu"

"..I usually ride my bike to work so I'm still exercising-"

They don't have the heart to lie to him at this point-

The Alchemist

The Alchemist picks Minky up and rests her on his shoulders, piggy back style.
"Come on. Let's get you out of here."

"Uh- Aren't you hurt? Is this okay??"
The Alchemist
"I'll be fine. Besides, I don't get exhausted, unlike you! Give your lungs a break, I'm sure they'll appreciate it."
Minky
"U-uh okay i guess!"
The Alchemist
"Piggy back, awaaay!"
Minky
"Weee!!!!"
