Duchess gallops forward to meet with its master. An imposing steed, the unicorn seemed to be rather particular. Its tail appeared to be made of blood, and great fins replaced its ears.

"HAH! YOUR FAKE DRAGON HAS NOTHING ON THE STEED OF THE SKELETON KING! THE MAD KNIGHT! BEHOLD MY BLOODFANG, FINALLY IN THE FORM HE WAS MEANT TO BE IN. A REWARD FOR MY DEDICATION AS A DRAKKEN!"

Bloodfang opens his wings and screeches to show his power. It had only been a month since his transformation into a nichtendrakk, but everyday him and his master, the Mad Knight, had trained. His body, once alien to him, had become natural, as if it was always meant to be.

Dread Knight
"FAKE DRAGON? THE TERRIBLE DUCHESS STANDS AS REAL AS YOURS. BLESSED BY THE OLD GODS, HE STANDS AS AN ICON AGAINST ALL THAT WOULD TROUBLE HOUSE VON DRAKKEN, LORD BORIS, AND THE VIRGIN PRINCESS!" He shouts, lance held high in the air.

James Drakken got in the middle of the two in the training arena, ignoring all of the show the two put on. "Aye, Mad Knight, I got a question for you."

"Can it not wait, James? Me and the Dread Knight are training. Bela Elzenstein, the Thorn Duke is coming, and he will surely want entertainment to go with his food and drink."

"Hmmm no. Cannot wait." The giant, James states solemnly as he places a hand on the Mad Knight's back and pushes him away from the event.

The Mad Knight, often a confident man, falters. He has heard of the way James does his deals. There is a moment of worry, fear that perhaps he had anger the large Drakken. "What do you request, James? I am but a simple Drakken knight. I don't have much to share with you. If this is about the escape of Dorothy Volkairn, that was in error. I will promise to do better to check the locks next time. If you need me to hunt her down I will do what is requested of me."

WHILE MY FATHER IS HONORED IN MANY WAYS, THE WAY YOU HOLD TRUE TO YOUR MORALS IS WHAT POWERS ME! TO THAT, I OFFER YOU THIS ROSE, IN HONOR OF OUR WONDERFUL GUEST FROM THE LANDS OF ELZENSTEIN!" The Dread Knight chants as he tosses to rose to Bellodonna.

The Dread Knight feels empowered by the acceptance of his rose. "I AND DUCHESS SHALL WIN THIS IN YOUR NAME, VIRGIN PRINCESS BELLODONNA! YOUR HONOR SHALL NOT BE WASTED!" The knight cheers as he rides back to his corner.

Despite the insanity of showing up to the arena with no steed at all, Dirt swaggers across the sand like he's the king of the universe, jeers rolling off him like rain, a common guardsman halberd slung over his shoulder.

"Gladd to be Seeinge such a Greate turn Oute! You Knowe me all and Every, and I know Youe!"

"Think of it as Raisede Stakes for the Duellers. If they shoulde go Down before me... who shalle ever take them Seriousley again?"

Dirt's queenzabeth flies in right behind him, running into the back of his head as he announces hismelf, as she both doesn't see him, and is excited upon seeing Bloodfang.

The Mad Knight isn't affected by the words of Dirt. He gives a small pat to Bloodfang who rises up on two legs and screeches without fear.

The Dread Knight on the other hand clenches his fist. He was the only son of his father. To go down against a man who wasn't even a knight, who strolled up covered in a layer of grime, it would tarnish his father's name.....

Kenshi is much too enamored by seeing a nichtendrakk, she sends her gogopet to help out literally the only person she can see, Skeleton King.
With the stakes set, and animals joining in to assist the battlers, a bell is rung, announcing the start of the fight.

IT'S A THREE WAY CLASH!
Dread Knight rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +10. A 20 is rolled.
Skeleton King rolls a 20 sided die with a modifier of +12. A 31 is rolled.
Dirt Drakken rolls a 20 sided die. A 2 is rolled.
Skeleton King
The two real knights look towards each other and laugh. The Mad Knight waves off the Dread Knight. He would not allow him to even attempt risking his honor in fighting Dirt. Bloodfang charges at Dirt, who bravely holds his ground, halberd in hand.

Sadly, Bloodfang tips his head downwards, and flicks his head back up to toss the halberd away like a toothpick.

"Hey, dats chea-"
Bloodfang grabs Dirt Drakken and parades him across the arena. The crowds laugh and point. After doing a full lap, allowing everyone to see the "Dirty Knight" Bloodfang flings him in the crowd, as if a gift for them.

"Another joke you see, how could anyone take dear Dirt seriously as a knight after all."

Bellodonna's attention, while mostly on the fight was also preoccupied on the rose in their hand.

The Dread Knight, now safe from social embarrassment charges the Mad Knight while he bickers at Dirt.
Skeleton King
The sneak attack fails though, as Bloodfang whips around without its owner's command and leaps over the Dread Knight.
Breathes are held as the battle rages on. While the Dread Knight fights with honor, no one expected him to win, he was battling a nichtendrakk after all. It was honorable enough that he had not run away, tail between his legs.

With one final tackle, Bloodfang is grazed by the lance, but pushes Duchess to the ground.

James whispers something to the announcer. The announcer shoots James a worried look, shakes his head, but James holds a tighter grip on him.

"It uh...has been ordered so by powers higher than I."

"BUT I DID NOT LOSE THE BATTLE!"

"Sir Dread Knight. Dirt was the clown today. He did not count, nor is he a real knight." The announcer painfully attempts to come up with excuses, James Drakken standing over him.

"I.......I......." The crowd mumbles, each one wondering why the Dread Knight refused to take off his helmet. All eyes upon him, escaped blocked by the Mad Knight.....there was nothing he could do.
The Dread Knight takes off her helmet.

And she does not wait for the crowd to give into speculation. "MY FATHER HAS 8 DAUGHTERS, AND I AM THE OLDEST ONE OF THEM! WHAT WAS MY FATHER SUPPOSE TO DO!? HE NEEDED A SON...AND....I HAD TO ACT AS ONE!"

Bellodonna continued, it was awful, miserable laughter, anyone who knew anything about laughter at all could tell their was no joy in it, certainly not regarding the awful spectacle presented in front of her, not of the miserable little knight before her
