THE ETERNAL METAL

Copper is a metal that lasts. It is intelligent, rusting in ways that gives itself a protective coating rather than withering apart. Many ages ago, humans sent out a disc made of gold-plated copper into the sky. On it were messages we wanted aliens to know about us. Our lives and culture. It was a foolish affair. A waste of good copper. It could have been used for wiring.

MAN’S OLDEST FORGE

Humans have been using copper for ages. While civilization has risen and fallen, copper has been with us the entire time. Unchanging. It’s one of the few things that man can depend on. Out of all the metals that I sell, copper is wanted for rational reasons. People want gold and silver for “value and looks”, but copper always has a use. I am not against the idea of love. I just simply do not understand the love between people and mostly useless rocks.

HARVESTED FROM THE CORE OF THE EARTH

All of our copper comes directly from deep-sea miners. The tunnels made are endless, much like space itself......Did you know that the aliens never found that record? Even when humans told them about it, they took it as a nice trivia point and nothing more. That disc is still out there. Along with thousands of others from animals like us.

I wonder if it even had anything good on it.
