This character has a certain behavior or way of working. This behavior is usually helpful to their group and commonly promotes teamwork. This character is less likely to disobey commands, is less likely to lose sanity and will likely follow routine.
[Speciesist] Negative trait
This character negatively or positively judges others based on what they were born as and not on the person's actions. This character will commonly review the social standing of a person by their species and race when they see them. This is different from the classist trait as this character does not judge on the character's social standing but the social standing of their entire race. It is possible for a speciesist to see all higher races as scum of the earth and lower species as absolutely perfect.
Gods

Some worship the Limbo Gods, but for most, the honor system is the closest the Weñar have to an organized faith.

Physical Description

Weñars are short, skinny, and have a layer of very short soft fur covering their entire body. They are usually varying shades of blue but are occasionally closer to green or purple. Their heads are like that of humans, but they have slits for a nose and two pairs of large, round ears. Their mouths have sharp fangs that poke out. They have long, spindly, arms nearly reaching the ground that they can crawl on for extra speed or stealth. They have padded feet and hands, catlike legs, and a long prehensile tail.

Males have tufts on the end of their tails, but females do not. Older weñar may have mustaches but many will trim these down as it is considered excessive.

Most prefer to wear all white or all black clothes. They do not wear armor and even the females rarely wear shirts, but they consider it highly indecent to leave all but the tip of the tail uncovered. Because of this, they wrap their tails in strips of cloth, usually in the opposite color of the rest of their clothes.

Weñar are mammals, and as such give live birth to a litter of three.

Personality

Nearly all weñar are excellent fighters. Their prowess in marksmanship is only matched by their skill in hand-to-hand combat. They have a nearly universal distrust of AIs and notails. Most do not talk much, and when they do, it is in an accent.

They have incredibly disciplined minds, and do not allow themselves to do, say, or even think something pointless, disrespectful, or counterproductive. Due to this discipline, they have a high tolerance to pain and hunger.

Most weñar work as bounty hunters, soldiers-for-hire, or gunners on a ship. A few are pilots, as it requires similar skills to fighting. Weñar merchants are rare, but do exist. They usually sell weapons, often simple ones that require skill, such as light pistols, precision rifles, spears, and knives, as opposed to more powerful and complex ones.

Weñar have a complex system of honor, and they consider it extremely dishonorable to not attempt to kill a clockwork on sight. If they see a clockwork, they would rather die in battle or be infected themselves than run away or avoid confrontation. They often have to be physically removed from battles with clockwork. This honor system also causes them to act strangely in other ways. For example, they will not pilot a ship if it has an AI, they will always eat the meat of something they killed as long as the meat is not infected or another weñar, and they will allow an enemy the first blow if they consider them to be significantly weaker.

Weñar are an extremely solitary race and regard other members of their own species with suspicion, even hostility.

Trivia

• Since weñar are so distrustful of other weñar and are generally disinterested in other species, they generally reproduce through cloning. A part of their honor code seems to be the necessity to keep their race alive. Without it, they probably would have gone extinct long ago, because of the rarity of natural weñar births.

• Although most weñar view other members of their species as competitors, they will rarely greet others as old friends or family, even if they have never met them before. This seems to be indicative of some sort of vestigial tribe or pack system, but no other species has been able to figure out exactly how the weñar determine whether another is part of the same tribe.

• Weñar often get along well with arma, valuing the armas' emphasis on loyalty, honesty, and the glory of war. An arma and weñar pair well in battle, the arma's heavy armor and weapons complementing the weñar's swift and light attacks.
