“Notail Fact: Did you know? Nearly everything you'll ever see is owned by someone else, even wild untamed land. Isn't that rather shocking to think about?” — =)

Personality & Traits

R-classes are everywhere, and yet rarely seen. If people could find them they would be doing a poor job. One of the loneliest notail classes, the R-class are avoidant of others from childhood, being taught via their quests to avoid detection by other notail children in the area. R-classes stay out in the woods as long as other outdoor notail types like the E-xplorer class. During this time they will aggressively protect a small tract of land in the woods.

R-classes are very good at memorization when it comes to the land they watch over, knowing where everything was placed the last time they were there. This allows the R-class to hone in on animals, or other notails they're looking for. R-classes take up the largest percentage of notail attacks by another notail in the woods. Once they reach adulthood R-classes are split off and sent off to start their job of protecting areas. Many R-classes will be sent to reserves or notail controlled planets where there is very little to no civilization, but some will be sent to protect buildings and objects as guards.

Once an R-class gets a job it's difficult to ever remove them from the job. The area they protect is now theirs, even if they don't actually own it. R-classes are so obsessed with keeping things in a nice balance they, for example, refuse to let any invading wildlife take control of an area if it was not planned. They keep track of everything and the moment the environment shows any signs of slipping out of balance, they will quickly jump to the task of fixing it.

R-classes are not too keen on interacting with other notails and species, instead just watching them from afar even if they are their protector. With a bit of luck, one can get an R-class to get out of their shell and be open to being approached. They are extremely loyal if befriended, though their over-protectiveness of their friends can be considered "a tad off."

The hardest part really is finding one.

Subtypes

U-Class: The U-ndercover class used to be a subtype of R-class but later branched into its own class.

R-avers: R-avers are a subtype of R-class that form a close bond with other R-avers. These R-avers never break apart their group no matter what, only death can separate them. These R-avers work on holding extremely large sections of land and can communicate with their fellow R-aver from huge distances, though are unable to communicate with other notails with their antennas. A lone R-aver who has lost their group will quickly succumb to death.

Special

Night eyes: While not perfect, R-classes see slightly better in the dark.

Trivia

• R-classes have more capture creatures than the normal one or less, but almost all of their capture creatures will be the same species.

• It is notably hard for any R-class to take up a leadership role. Being the leader means outing yourself to the public. Most R-class leaders would drop out of being the leader within 10 years. This got so bad that there would be many years where the R-classes had no leader, forcing other classes to step in and force an R-class to become the leader. Becoming leader was declared a punishment by other R-classes.

• The current R-class leader, R-18, is in fact not an R-class but an unknown mixed class born and raised on Prison Planet. R-18 is an extremely flashy and boisterous notail who has an unusual affinity for fire. Apparently only appointed because O-4 became tired of having to force an R-class to become leader and R-18 offered. It is unknown who R-18 was before becoming R-18 due to where R-18 came from. He is considered a classless notail and is unlikely to be even part R-class.
